In the scorching heat of May, we were sweating it out in the office to bring you  these new names who made the cut – check to see if we added some one in your city, and do write in to us if you know of a wedding professional in your city who does awesome work. We are always open to considering recommendations though we cannot guarantee that we will add all of them

New Category: Local Shops for Bridal Wear/ Groom Wear

While the existing  bridal designer category caters to boutiques, high end designers as well as lesser known names..the  NEW Local stores category looks at non -designer local shops tucked away in the corners of your city that are must visits!! This category is right now live for Delhi and the groundwork for Mumbai has begun!

-Delhi based  Frontier Raas was added as our first local store in Delhi

- Delhi based Asiana Couture (Chandni Chowk), & Om Prakash Jawahar Lal (Chandni Chowk) are two added from Chandni Chowk- and one look at their profile will make you take a trip to CC for sure !

- Delhi based Kalashree from Karol Bagh , Delhi also made the cut (affordable, but beautiful)

- Groom wear local stores like Studio One, Study by Janak & Narains were also added to the mix for Delhi

Makeup Artist Tamanna Rooz

Makeup Artists : New names added 

• Hyderabad based Tamanna Rooz was the first name from the city of Nawabs ! Love her work
• Hyderabad based Sara at Blush Salon, Sero's by Edward & Zing & Prashant Makeup artist all made the WMG cut (YAY!)
• Delhi based Aanchal kumar is our newest MUA to join the halo'd list for Delhi
• Mumbai based Dimple Bathija & Tanaya Sheyte also were added to our cut from Mumbai !
• Pune & Goa  based Amrita Bokey also made the cut

  Photographer : New names added 

• Delhi based Creative Lens was added to our list. Super professional those two- and lovely shots !
• Delhi based Lakshya Chawla (very bang for your buck ) & Vijay Sharma (love the use of color) were both added to our showcase
• Delhi based Morvi Images was also added- very artsy photos and  mostly B& W !
• Ahmedabad & Surat based Puja Kedia who shoots a lot of Mumbai weddings was also added.
• We opened the photography category for Hyderabad last month - Kishore krishnamurthy, Suman Chakri, Sai Kiran & Soumya Radesh were added (still doing some research of more affordable names you guys- please pitch in with suggestions in the comments below)
• Chandigarh based Simran Jagdev was our first Chandigarh based Photographer to be added.
• Goa based Priyanshu Asthana might be the perfect choice for your destination wedding in Goa !
• Jaipur based Tej Photography is also a great bet for a palace wedding !
• Bangalore based Bridal Safari was added !
• Pune based Anand Jadhav
• Chennai Based Amar Ramesh, & Yadhu opened the photography category for Chennai
• Kolkata based Photographians made the list- very affordable and very nice work!
• Dubai based Candid Kama whose work is not only phenomenal, but they bring some of the most fun ideas on their blog also were added.

 

Decor by Bougainvilla

Decor: New names added

• We opened the decor category for Mumbai and Prime weddings, DG Wedding Decor, 3 Leaf Clover & Vivaah  made the list. Again, we are always on the hunt for lesser known, affordable decor guys so please do tell us below !
• Delhi based Mantra , Bougainvilla Design & Abhinav Bhagat all were added
• Devika Narain- who is a bespoke wedding designer was also added

Carma Ideas

Invitations

• Mumbai based Carma Ideas have super elegant invites spanning a range of styles and so much color. Yum!
• Delhi based Core Designs have some really interesting stuff. We could only manage a few images from them, but take a look!
• Delhi based Extra's Invites & More does customised solutions. Like personalised candles, or poker sets or low cost invites!
• Chandigarh based Pumple carfts has some really beautiful laser cut invites that bridge the new age- old age divide.

Bridal & Trousseau Designers

• Hyderabad based Varuna Jitesh (very affordable you guys.Some of  her lehengas for 30K are really fab!)
• Mumbai based Akshay Kalmadi also does really nice bridal wear at affordable prices
• Anita dongre was added to our showcase. Gota Patti heaven anyone?
• Amrita Thakur's line is full of fun outfits for your mehendi
• Delhi based Malasa by Nimrit Gill has some pretty trousseau anarkalis and saris .

Coming soon: CATERING ! Has been one of our favourite categories to scout for- we got to taste so much yummy food !
