THE JEHAN REALLY NEEDS TO CHANGE ITS DECORATORS! I had my wedding here 2 months ago and the venue was booked almost 10 months in advance. In these 10 months, their management changed and they conveniently altered half the things they had promised to deliver. Multiple meetings were held with their team to finalise every little detail, yet they failed to deliver. They first proclaimed that they had a panel of in-house decorators to choose from, which later on turned out to be one disappointing decorator by the name of Classic Decor (which, by the way, has no social media/google presence, so you can't really see the kind of work they do). I personally met the team of decorators at least thrice and gave specific instructions as to what I wanted. I even shared pictures (of which I have proof) and they confidently promised to create and deliver what I had asked for at the price agreed upon. Unfortunately, the person I interacted with turned out to be extremely unprofessional. The team of decorators has zero coordination with the management at the Jehan. They are not clear about their terms of engagement (the payment they are supposed to receive, the time at which they are supposed to keep the venue ready etc.) because of which the customer has to ultimately suffer. On the day of my wedding, when the baraat arrived, the entrance canopy was half broken (pictures attached). Apart from that, the gazebos they were supposed to install had broken roofs, the stage was visibly assemytrical, the floral arrangement was sub-standard and all the props they promised to give were just not there. In short-HUGELY DISAPPOINTING! The food is good and they should be given full credit for that (hence the one star). But food (though very important) is not the only thing that matters at a wedding. They really need to work on their attitude, the management needs to be more professional, the coordination between different teams needs to be better and the decorator needs to go. One small advice- do not promise what you cannot deliver.

the food was really really good, but the decorations and lighting ruined the whole function. it was so full, totally not worth it

We hosted our wedding at Jehan and it was a pretty nice venue. They provided us with all the basic facilities, catering and decoration vendors as well. Food was really good and everyone liked it. But when we booked it, their hospitality team was different and after a few months they changed it, Even the decoration vendor. The old one promised a much heavier decor but the new one did not have much to offer and we were not really happy with the decoration. Even their hospitality team was not that good. Other than that the venue was beautiful!

We hosted our wedding at Jehan and I was not at all satisfied with their arrangements. The decoration was not up to the mark. They showed us a lot of pictures but did not fulfill our requirements and didn't meet our expectations. We had to make last minute changes and we got so stressed! The food was fine though. But this place is not recommendable.

We hosted our wedding at The Jehaan, Delhi. The experience we had there was truly amazing. The property is huge with really nice infrastructure and the service is really good too. The best part was the food as it was so delicious. Got many compliments from our guests for choosing this as the venue for our D-day!!

My wedding went fairly well at the venue, however I did have some issues with the staff since we had the place booked for stay for our guests, the staff could be a little better and cooperative. The decór was decent as well!

Horrible experience. The hotel staff is pleasant to talk to until you make the first payment. After that, they act like thugs and resort to every possible move to make the experience nightmarish. Would have hoped for more professionalism in communication. Had my wedding there in July, food was okay, decor just about fine, but experience with the management horrible. Not recommended at all

Horrible People. Never book for a wedding (banquet hall). Extortion based business practices. We had a banquet hall reservation at Jehan for my wedding. When we arrived at the venue (with Baarat close behind us), we were told that the dinner will not be served unless the payment is made in full in cash. This would have been fine if we were informed of such payment expectation in advance. However, there was no prior communication that we have to settle the account before dinner can be served to the guests. Their staff attempted to create a situation where they would embarrass us in front of our guests by holding the dinner hostage. Having made 90% of the payment in advance, we had no intention of holding the last 10% back. There was absolutely no need for Jehan employees to act like thugs. Something that could have been (and should have been) communicated pleasantly and professionally was unnecessarily reduced to extortion. We met Jehan executives several times before the event with the sole purpose of working out any last minute details. We also had several telephone conversations with them on the day of the event. At no point did they convey that we have to settle the account before the event. Nonetheless, we came prepared to settle the account before leaving the venue, after the event. The entire duration of event was like a nightmare for us. The staff was in threat mode all the time as if we were criminal and would run away from site. They did not have faith in their client who has spent a fortune on his daughter's wedding. Jehan management recommended a decorator (Pankaj) who was a crook and cheated us on every opportunity. He did a terrible job, was equally thuggish in demanding the full cash payment on the spot (without prior notice) and threatened to create a scene in front of our guests. We have pictures to prove that the decoration was absolutely nothing like what was promised. As opposed to putting an effort to make the experience pleasant for us, their staff went to great lengths to present themselves as unfit for the hospitality industry. The lack of professionalism was as stark as it was surprising. For a hospitality business that relies on word of mouth, their staff in Delhi is sub-par and under-trained.
