Don’t go by the looks of the property. It’s only beautiful from exteriors. Rest everything about this property from rooms to management sucks. And the worst part of this property is Hemlata. She is the most adamant rude arrogant mannerless women we have ever met. The lockers in room don’t work. There is water clogging in all the bathrooms. You will not get hot and cold water like normal showers. You cannot do after party after the functions. We booked the entire property in april for our wedding in November after meeting udai singh. Hemlata wasn’t even in the picture else we would have never booked. To get the booking done, udai singh will agree to all the things you will mention. But that guy lacks professionalism. No proper contract after booking and before wedding he will deny everything he agreed to. He promised us the chairs tables and banquet counters since we booked the hotel catering only along with property. A day before function he denied that. Thankfully our wedding planner was accommodating enough to do last minute changes but it did increase our budget. Hemlata will interfere in the functions, shout, did not let us play music. It was extremely pathetic service from the entire management even after paying huge amount

The castle mewar The property might look beautiful but a property isn't beautiful only by its exterior, people who handle it should also be as beautiful. This is not the case here. We had followed up with tht owner Mr udai Singh for the past 5 months and had specifically had conversation about catering policy and the rates of the venue and rooms. Covid struck and we couldn't finalize the property. In July we started following up with him and booked our chennai to udaipur tickets, after booking the tickets he tells us the dates which we wanted are booked, that's fine we asked for other days and they were available. So we carried on with our plans to visit the property, Mr udai Singh wasn't available to host us, some lady on the reception hosted us and she is the rudest and adamant person you would meet. Imagine that's the person u have your first conversation with, after having a look at the property they quote us a price 100% more than what was discussed and suddenly the catering policy is also changed. This is their professionalism. With no regard to someone's feeling and emotions regarding their special day they spoil all the plans. A simple courtesy messaged that the policy has changed or rates are changed would have been enough. Calling someone to look at your property from another corner of the country and behaving this was is utter nonsense. So everyone who is looking to book this place - don't, you will regret it, if they can do this now, what else can they do during the wedding. I am gonna make sure this posts reaches people in thousands, this nonsense will not be tolerated. Attaching below the conversations and quotes sent by him. The Castle Mewar was our venue. It was a beautiful property, away from the hustle bustle of the city , in the midst of green mountains on top of a hill, a while castle worked perfectly for us with the amount of rooms that we wanted. Source
