Looking back on my travels, I always come back to my honeymoon at the Taj Lake Palace. There is nothing more spectacular than staying on an island palace with views of beautiful Udaipur. The service and food here can't be beat.Source

A friendly face welcoming me “home” to my favourite hotel in the world. @tajlakepalace is like no other place I have ever stayed - regal, peaceful, decadent, inviting, iconic and with wonderful hospitality in the true style of Taj Hotels.Source

We had the opportunity to visit the royal state of Rajasthan for a friend’s destination wedding where we also got to stay at the world acclaimed Taj Lake Palace, Udaipur. This luxury hotel is located in the middle of Lake Pichola and is said to be the king’s summer palace during the Mewar dynasty in the year 1743. We had to take a small ferry from the city to reach the hotel. It was a truly overwhelming experience! Posting some beautiful images of this place, but trust me when I say it is much better when experienced in person! .Source

Wow! What an amazing palace! We stayed in Jal Tarang Suite and it can literally blow anyone’s mind. You can feel the royalty the moment you enter the palace! From a warm welcome with a guard of honour, to a luxurious lobby. The views from the restaurant, the pool side, the verandahs & the royal cruise (Ghanghor) will leave anyone thunderstruck! The @tajlakepalace offers a very unique experience & is definitely worth the stay. 🥂Source

Taj Lake Palace, Udaipur. The most surreal hotel (palace) we’ve ever visited. Floating in the middle of Lake Pichola, we danced along the rooftop, pretending we were maharajas and maharanis while intoxicating music drummed from the below courtyard. It echoed over the water and the full moon glimmered. If there’s one place you must visit to lose yourself, it’s India. XOSource

Taj Lake Palace, Udaipur - waking up in a palace hotel over a lake was the most serene morning...all you hear are the birds above and soft waves outside. Only guests are allowed on property so make sure to book at least one night here ☾Source

A spectacular hotel, set beautifully amidst a lake, the Taj Lake Palace in Udaipur looks like a dream and offers nothing less than fulfilling your ultimate wedding fantasies. Royal butlers, critically acclaimed chefs and the hospitality backed by the name of the prestigious Taj brand is just the beginning of what the palace hotel has to offer to the couple to wed. Their Lily Pond provides for an intimate gathering spot as the pond filled with gorgeous lilies is lit up with floating candles. For a larger congregation, the Mewar Terrace offers not only stunning views of the city of Jaipur below, but also a never-ending procession of scrumptious Rajasthani dishes—perfect for a royal Rajasthani wedding.Source
