Paradise Banquet Hall, Borivali East

Positives:- 1)The proprietor (Mr. Banty) of the hall is flexible. He helped us and generally positive for the changes and requirements 2)Food variety and the taste quality was excellent. They gave opportunity to us to taste the food (which all halls do). In snacks some items were quite creative (e.g. Paneer Papad and lollypop....simply delicious) and also most items in the dinner menu were quite good. Pani puri (I didn't taste it), was quite delicious that our guests said. Negatives:- 1)On stage lights were not sufficient. Some bright lights should face the people on the stage but those were facing the audience. This is why some of the photos were not at all of basic standards simply due to these poor light adjustments. Horrible indeed. 2)Despite our photographer asked to adjust the lights on the stage the lady at the hall simply denied and said those are fixed and cannot be adjusted. This is the reason one must not go for big programs there. Even I shall not recommend the hall decor for important events like engagement/naming ceremonies. For meetings this hall may be good. 3)We lost our Brass Samai at the hall and even today not found (that was of excellent quality). But owner helped us to get another one by making payment from his pocket which is appreciated. But its not a sound sign that one loses anything at the hall 4)The worst part was the flock of servants simply gherao you for tips (the number was not less than 20 to 25). At one point I drove them away. Absolutely ridiculous to the tune that manager of the hall also approached me for the tips. What kind of management is this? Just for the tips the person from the hall who was kind of in charge for dinner (do not remember his name), asked us to sit at the table and told me that he will serve the food. By this they were preparing grounds to extract tips from us. In this the food serving was quite delayed. The soup was quite cold by the time it was served to us and likewise all the other items too. I wanted to have taste of pani puri which he said he will serve and forgot to serve the same. Horrible experience overall at the dinner table. I shall never recommend this hall with these worst experiences. One must make these things clear to the hall before making payment of any advances to book the hall. I now realize that when most of the halls in Borivali are pre-booked for more than months why this hall was available. One should give a second thought before booking this Paradise Banquets and Lawn
