Excellent location for weddings; the rooms historic motif makes for the most amazing overall experience.

Our time at Mundota was absolutely amazing. From the exceptional service, stunning venues, and attentive staff, to the overall atmosphere, everything felt truly luxurious. It's remarkable that this property boasts a palace, a fort, and a polo ground all within the same grounds – a truly regal Rajasthani experience. I highly recommend having your wedding pheras at their war fort during sunset; the breathtaking colors in the sky, combined with the rustic fort and panoramic views, create an enchanting setting. During our mehandi, we also enjoyed a flawlessly executed camel polo event arranged by the hotel team. The food was undoubtedly the best we've ever had at a wedding, and our guests couldn't stop praising it. In fact, the quality of their cuisine is on par, if not better, than that of well-known hotel brands like Taj or ITC.

It's a 14th Century fort. We always wanted an intimate destination wedding and after exploring Mundota Fort and Palace, we looked no further as this is where luxury meets history. This property loudly speaks of Rajasthani heritage with its unmatched beauty and grandeur. It has got different venue options with perfect settings to make it a wedding of your dreams.Source

As much as we fell in love with this charming location, the management left much to be desired. We had booked our February wedding over 6 months in advance and the hotel was renovating much of the property. We were promised it would be fully functional for the wedding. As much as it was ready, I could tell there were a lot of final touches that were rushed to get done and therefore sub-par. Also, the management of room service, car service, luggage, maintenance, etc. was not perfect. There was definitely a lack in professionalism there. They also promised us hot tubs in each of the master suites at the Fort, but when we arrived they were filled with water but cold. When we asked if they could be turned on the staff said “oh well they take time to heat up you should have arranged that in advance” Ummmmmm???? What?? What are we there for! I felt as they were making excuses and actually lying because the hot tubs weren’t actually functional. The saving grace was that our wedding planner (separate from the hotel completely) made all the events and decor come together in the end and the guests enjoyed the wedding. And I’ll give it to Mundota that the property and rooms and gorgeous. But management, wow, they need to get it together.

Beautiful, luxurious, extravagant! just a few words out of many to describe this place. The owners and staff go out of their way to make you and your guests feel comfortable. Minimal décor is needed to exemplify it's majesty, and the food is to die for!
Mundota Fort and Palace, Jaipur
Dear Ms. Rachel, Thank you for your kind review of Mundota and appreciation of the charming location. While we understand your frustration with the private jacuzzi’s in the suites, kindly allow us to clarify a couple of things: The ‘hot tubs’ you are referring to are actually 12,000 litre jetted pools that come in 3 of our Hilltop War Fort Suite...
