Kesar Bagh is one such oasis, where time and the elements have taken their toll on the old buildings and orchards. During the monsoons, rainwater gushing down from the Aravallis Hills had breached the lake's earthen dam, on the banks of which once stood the old and grand Kesar Bagh. The current Rao Sahib of Jojawar, Maharaj Singh ji, eager to restore the land's and his family's old traditions, recreated the new Kesar Bagh right where the old buildings once stood, but with a few modern-day changes. The forest is allowed to take over what was once a farm and orchard in order to provide the visitor with a sense of harmony and fulfilment from being in nature.
