Chunda Palace, Udaipur

We had booked the entire property for our wedding in Nov. 2020 a year in advance. Unfortunately, the pandemic hit and the entire year was uncertain. Because of Rajasthan Gov. restrictions we had to cancel our wedding at the last minute and there was zero support from the hotel especially the COO Abhinav. They were so stubborn and stringent on their stand. Our advance of 6lacs is still with them for which they have no intentions of refunding. On top of that Abhinav told us that we can utilise the 6 lacs within a few months only if we guarantee an expenditure of 20-25lacs. Kindly refrain from booking this hotel for weddings. It’s better to go for renowned 5star hotel chains who are more than happy to help out in such situations!

For my wedding, we had A Welcome Dinner at the Chunda Palace, Udaipur. The theme for the event was Sufi Night. I am so happy that everything turned out so well and all the arrangements made by the venue's team were just fabulous. The entire set up with the Sufi singers along with the lovely lights and the location of the venue added so much charm to our special day. Everyone enjoyed a lot and we're glad we chose the right venue. The food was served in a partially closed setting and that was lovely too. We would love to recommend the venue to everyone out there!

Per plate Vegetarian Menu is Rs 2200 and not Rs 1200 as mentioned. The spread is elaborate and qulity of the food items are simply superb. The location is captivating and guests will simply go gaga about the property. It has scenic superb locations and there are good number of Hotels near by Amar Kothi, Viaan,Dev Villa etc for weeding guests stay as they are less than 300 meters away from Chunda Palace and avaialle at a fraction of cost as Chunda with better rooms and facilities and good logistics

We had our reception, sangeet & cocktail at Chunda Palace. Chunda Palace did an amazing job assisting us in planning the wedding. They went above and beyond expectations. They say that the food at the wedding is what people talk about, the food was loved by everyone. There was a lot of variety and everything tasted delicious.

I attended one of the most magical weddings here. The arrangements and each and every corner of this beautiful property is extremely picturesque. The food on each and every day of the wedding function was exquisite. The staff is helpful and very accommodating to the ideas and don't leave a stone unturned to make it the most memorable time of your life.

Both Smaran and I wanted an intimate wedding in the company of our closest friends and family and that is exactly what we got. We chose Udaipur as our destination and were very pleased to have found the ideal location for a lake-side wedding.
