Worst experience of my life.. There are only a handful of good angle pictures.. The team did not even give us our albums.. Instead returned a few bucks and the raw footage.. Always late for functions.. My biggest regret.

Venues

One of the most beautiful resorts I have stayed in. The service, hospitality and location is simply outstanding. We were very confused with out wedding destination, as both Kapil and I are from Dubai and our families are from Ahmedabad and Mumbai (resp). We came across this beautiful property online and it was love at first sight.

Wedding Planners

We found them through wedmegood.com.. Had a couple of skype calls and we knew that they will do a great job. They were our wedding planners and managed all the decor as well. Both Kapil and I are very picky and these guys really put up with all our needs and countless emails, as we were coordinating everything with them online. It was tricky as their team was based in Kerala and we were living in Dubai, but all fell in the perfect place.

Decorators

Bridal Makeup

Once again I found her through wmg and loved her work at first sight. The best part is how she makes you feel - comfortable and loved. She did the makeup and hair for me, my mother, my mother in law and my sister in law - and each one of us loved her to bits! Kapil's not a big fan of makeup and I love my blushes (which girl doesn't).. she ensured to keep both our requests in mind and I loved what I saw. There were no trials, no meetings.. we directly met at my wedding and I had sent her my outfit and few preference pictures and it was seamless. I also remember how quickly she would change the makeups/hair between functions - which is so important in Indian weddings..

Groom Wear

Like bride, like groom.. Kapil also had several special requests in terms of exact material, buttons and fitting in mind. Special mentions to Amit Arora who catered to all his needs and gave him exactly what was in his mind.

Bridal Wear

They have one of the better collections in Delhi for bridal wear but I wouldnt recommend going to this place AT ALL! I made a trip to India especially to get my clothes before the wedding..and bought two of my lehengas from Frontier Raas. A night before delivery date, floor manager, Suruchi called me to tell me that the lehenga is not ready and she needs a week...with them knowing that my wedding was in a week!!!!! This started 4 days of visiting the south ex store everyday with not a single person with knowledge of actually status of my lehenga - one day the blouse wasnt ready, another day it was fully ready and third day duppatta wasnt ready. Not a single person felt responsible to tell me what was happening..from sales guy, to floor manager to the owners (I spoke to the nephew, Tushar, his aunt and uncle, Sunil who are the owners). Finally, when I did get to see the picture of lehenga from their workshop, the work and top border was botched! Blouses did not fit. Duppatta color of second lehenga did not match and I had to take the sample piece over a new one!!! After 10-12 visits, friends and family stressed out, I got my lehengas 2 days before my functions started!!! And I picked up my jewelry using sample pieces.. This with the owner, Sunil shouting at us in his store final day...forget him giving discount for this trouble! May be my fault in telling them my actual wedding date vs. lying them about it to be 4 weeks before actual date so I could have some buffer!!!! Ladies, for your own sanity, DO NOT go to this place for buying key pieces for your wedding!

Cinema/Video

The video was still better.. However all the further additions and editions were refused.. And only raw footage was returned. We will be now redoing the whole albums and video in Dubai through a local team.
