Venues
One of the most beautiful locations for a city wedding. Love the venues, greenery although service could?ve been better!
Decorators
Everything I envisioned for the place, The Vintage Box delivered. Right from the soft decor at the sundowner to the beautiful floral mandap at the ceremony to white and coral at the ballroom. It was right out of a fairy tale!
Bridal Makeup
I was very clear that I didn?t want that typical caked bridal makeup with extensions, lenses etc which I found with a lot of these bridal make-up artists. I wanted the made-up look but still wanted to look like myself. I really liked Geeta?s subtle yet glamorous style. We decided to use a lot of contouring, nude lips and smokey eyes to go with thewestern outfits and subtle shades of pink for the wedding ceremony.
Invitations
The Vintage Box helped us come up with the basic floral vintagy theme that we used throughout the wedding in all design aspects. So we used soft pink, white and gold for the cards with a floral backdrop.
Groom Wear
Although Vineti doesnt do men?s wear, Amrit blindly trusts her taste the most and didn?t leave her with much choice but to design all his looks. For the youngsters he wanted a very formal look, hence the navy jacket and pants. For the wedding Amrit didn?t want the traditional sherwani look so Vineti put together the jodhpuri suit that he wore. The personal touch was the handmade zardosi buttons which she made herself! An for the cocktail she gave him a dapper look in a 3-piece suit!
Jewellery
Being our family jewellers, they have known our taste since I was a kid. My jewellery was a blend of contemporary with a hyderabadi touch via emeralds and pearls.
