My mehendi was at my bua's house in akbar road, open lawns, swings, lots and lots of greenery over-looking a beautiful haveli ,again sunny day! I wanted it to be vibrant and floral so I gave all my friends and family floral dupattas to match their outfits with, I had floral cushions and table runners ( the floral arrangement was a little disappointing for me ) but over all we pulled off a great feel , we had multicolored bunting , origami birds , the usual frames and a wish tree, also wanted a fun element so added chai holders for centerpiece 's and chal kettles . so basically the mehendhi was a mix of floral and kitsch.
