You can sense it when two people are in love from the comfort level they share with each other. It's evident all over their face and in the way they move, talk and spend time with each other. Considering all of these, I couldn't believe that Tanmay and Rucha were having an arranged marriage.

Ahmedabad

There are weddings where everything goes as per schedule but the muhurat is when the sun is too bright and right above our heads. There are also weddings where the baaratis dance a little longer or get caught up in expected traffic and the pheras happen while the sun is setting. So the question is 'Do we pray for slight delays so we get better light while shooting?' ?If we were to create a mood board for winter weddings, it would have all the pictures from V & Y's wedding.

Mumbai

Would anyone have Monday blues if all of their work days started with the smell of fresh flowers? Walking into the bride's room has always been a mood setter despite the early morning wake up calls. Shooting Remya and Ashwin made me realise how effortless it is to shoot two people who know how to be happy by themselves. I didn't have to tell either of them to make the other person smile, they were happy being themselves and happier around each other.

Goa

The process of clicking good pictures includes the scouting of a location for elevated surfaces where I can climb and do some monkey business. Thankfully, my team doesn't shoot BTS pictures (yet) to embarrass each other.

Mumbai

Weddings from many parts of India have special games curated for the newly married couple. Weddings in Maharashtra have something to do with a thread to be tied on the hand, in Gujarat they have a ceremony where a ring is dropped in coloured water, some communities of Tamil Nadu have an elaborate gaming session which involves the entire family. The real entertainment is not in the game but in the cheating tricks used by them ?
