When Pradnya told me she was getting married in the rustic green Konkan at a heritage eco-resort popularly known as Mamach Ghar, in a cosy little place called Tural, Konkan; I knew we were going to shoot this one – come what may! The scenic drive to the resort in Konkan set our expectations. Especially considering that (as if by design) the moment you enter their house – NO MOBILE CONNECTIVITY! This was a vacation! We were just shooting a marriage ceremony there – by coincidence!!!

Early last year, when INCK got a call from Bonnie, we literally jumped! The fact that this was our first Church Wedding, – that too an out-of-the-box Malayali Christian wedding, with the malayali bride wearing a white gown instead of a sari – we were even more excited. Not only did we click really well with this couple, but we knew that their love story would weave a special magic into whatever photographs we shoot!

It started with a beautiful mehendi ceremony in Bantao, where the bride was adorned with jewellery made of flowers. Every heard of Vedic wedding? No? A wedding where a group of musicians and panditji who sings the mantras through the whole ceremony.
