*****Low quality work - over promise and under delivery***** Not at all satisfactory experience of booking Santosh and his team for covering my wedding. I still feel bad about my decision of going with them as their work didn’t meet the expectation. It was a lifetime event which team failed to capture. We had booked them for whooping INR 1.5 lakh to cover both groom and bride side and made a mistake of paying whole amount in advance. They didn’t keep the promise to deliver some of the items/quality as per the initial contract. Also, I had to constantly work with them while finalizing the albums. A few issues that I personally faced with their team 1. Constant delay in delivering the output on time you will hear all sorts of excuses like team meeting with an accidents, they have to go on a month long leisure trip, they can’t give a timeline estimate for the delivery as it pressurizes the team (you will feel helpless as you have paid the whole amount in advance). My wedding was in May’23 first week however it took them 5 months to deliver everything (I got the albums and video in Sep’23 2. The results were not at all great, there was a stark difference in the colors of photos of two sides (brides side were all dull). I raised this issue to Santosh which he said will be corrected in the end results. However, I didn’t see the color correction in the final file shared with us. I am not sure if team uses all good quality cameras. Also, there was no scope to edit bride side pictures as they were not in RAW format. 3. Drone shoots were included in our package however we were not delivered any drone coverage of ceremonies despite repeated reminders in fact they were not even captured as we didn’t see any drone during jaimala and other functions. Also, the album hardcopy was oddly very heavy format of square shape whereas the rectangular shape were communicated in the initial conversations. 4. We had such a huge open venue but they did all my candid photoshoot inside the room with dark background - didn’t even utilize the beautiful lightings of the venue. Also, they did the groom dress shoot on the day of wedding but forgot the bride’s lehanga shoot which I had to ask them to do after the wedding 5. Long traditional video results were rushed. There were few clips that they made exactly similar copies for both the sides. 6. Final album had no designing - I saw output of other photographer where they have aesthetically placed the photographs with designs in each page. What we have been delivered shoddy work of rectangular placement of the picture. You can figure out the album desinging from the attached pictures.

Santosh and his team are brilliant. We asked them to capture our emotions. Not only did they did that but they also managed to capture our souls. He and his team are immensely talented and have a bright future ahead. They comply to all your caterings and are well mannered. I wish you guys all the very best for the future :)

We wanted a post wedding photo shoot in nainital so we found them on wedmegood :) at first we were doubtful about quality of work in such small cities but once we met mahogany films we had all doubts clear :) santosh paras and racsha are brilliant creaters as well as very nice human beings ,the photos and video were excellent:) I recommend mahogany films strongly to all :)

Whenever you are shooting a wedding, you need to keep the emotional connect with the client so that you can get the glimpse of the subject's feeling and I think Mahogany Films keep that perspective in their mind always and all of us can see the results. Beautiful photographs! They speak.

So first of all agree with me that weddings in pandemic suck!!! But these people made out experience worthwhile. They followed all the norms and protocols. The team was superbly professional and friendly. The pictures turned out exactly as we imagined. They do such brilliant work without burning a whole in your pocket.
