Zohra and her team are incredibly skilled and highly professional. She understood my preferences immediately and created a bridal look that was elegant, glowing, and completely stress-free for me. The team was punctual, hygienic, and very polite. Thank you for making me feel confident and absolutely stunning on my most important day!

​I am writing this review later than intended, but I feel it is important to share my experience for other brides. I booked Zohra for my April 2025 wedding specifically because her portfolio highlighted expertise in Hijab styling and airbrush makeup both of which were requirements for my summer wedding. Unfortunately, the delivery was a disaster. ​While I was personally delayed arriving at the venue due to unforeseen circumstances, I ensured Zohra waited comfortably in the air-conditioned hotel lounge, not the heat. However, from the moment we started, things went downhill: ​Foundation & Shade Matching: I am a Dior shade 1.5N. Zohra painted me into a 4.5N. She essentially matched my entire face to the shade of my dark circles, making me look incredibly dark and muddy. Even the groom looked fairer than me, and every guest asked why my makeup was so dark. I had to constantly ask her to make it lighter, but she didn't listen. ​Bait and Switch on Services: We had a deal for airbrush makeup. I waited the entire session for the airbrush, but she never used it. At the end, she charged me the full airbrush price for HD makeup (which I didn't ask for), claiming my skin "didn't need" airbrush. It is not the artist's place to unilaterally decide to downgrade a paid service without consent. ​Hijab Styling: Despite sending her the specific Hijab style three months in advance (and again right before the wedding), she and her team had no idea how to execute it. I ended up having to do my own Hijab and fix my own makeup on my wedding day. ​Poor Quality for Family: The assistant artists she brought for my family were equally unprofessional. The makeup they applied looked like it was done by a child; it didn’t match their skin tones and wore off before the ceremony even began. ​Stingy with Products: For the premium price charged, she was incredibly stingy with product usage. ​I know how to do makeup and handled my own looks for previous functions, but as a bride, I wanted to relax and be pampered. Instead, I was kept on my toes correcting her mistakes the entire time. The setup looked fancy, but the technical delivery was terrible. Save your money and your wedding photos do not book her. This is to zohra's reply Let me address this clearly and factually because I will not sit back and allow a false narrative to be painted. Yes, I acknowledged my part in the timing and I owned up to it, that was never in dispute but what you conveniently left out is that the wedding time itself was also pushed due to unforeseen circumstances, so kindly stop presenting yourself as though you were the wedding planner managing a strict schedule. As for my skin being dehydrated — that is an outright lie. I had a professional HydraFacial done just two days before the wedding, and anyone who genuinely works in the beauty industry knows that is one of the best preparations you can do for your skin before a big event. You also kept asking me beforehand what products I use to make the session easier, so don't now turn around and blame my skin. Regarding the room, I personally came and checked in with you, made sure you had enough space and proper lighting, and the wedding gifts you complained about were neatly arranged on one side of the room, well after you had already begun setting up, so that excuse holds no ground either. The reason I kept checking the mirror was not attitude or interference — it was because you were struggling to follow the reference picture I had clearly provided, and I had to keep stepping in because the look was not coming together. On my eyebrows — in my culture we do not thread or pluck, and I have well-defined brows that needed nothing more than an eyebrow gel for shape, which is hardly a complicated request for someone calling themselves a professional. Now, the most important point, you charged me for airbrush and I want to be very clear here, do not take me for an uneducated person. Airbrush is not just a technique, it is a device. A proper airbrush setup requires a compressor and a dedicated airbrush gun — you did not have that system with you, not one piece of it. You used standard makeup tools from start to finish and did not use an airbrush for a single second of my session. I flew in from Abu Dhabi for this wedding and paid specifically for airbrush makeup — what you delivered was HD and what you charged me for was airbrush, and dressing that up as a "technique" is not a justification, it is a scam. Beyond that, matching foundation to your neck and cheeks is not an advanced skill — it is the absolute bare minimum expected of any makeup artist, let alone one charging bridal rates. I gave you my shade, I gave you a reference, and my face still did not match my own neck. As for the hijab style — I did not force that on you, I asked you clearly and specifically multiple times whether you could do it, and you confidently said yes, that you had done it for a bride before. You assured me. I trusted that aassurance.

I had the absolute pleasure of having Zohra as my makeup artist for all four of my wedding events — Haldi, Nikah, Walima, and Reception — and I couldn’t have asked for anyone better. Each look she created was stunning, unique, and perfectly suited to the occasion, yet still felt very "me." From the moment she started, it was clear how much thought, detail, and artistry she put into every look. She didn’t just do makeup — she curated an entire experience. Zohra also came fully prepared with matching accessories that tied beautifully with each outfit, taking the overall styling to the next level. The compliments were endless, and I genuinely felt so confident and radiant at every event. Thanks to her, I truly felt like I was living my own little stardom moment throughout the wedding.

Zohra is really professional, friendly, artistic, reliable. I was so pleased with my makeup that she did for me for my wedding & reception. Her work is amazing. She gave me a beautiful makeup look which was complimented by everyone around during the event. I found Zohra via Instagram from Chicago, for my wedding in Pune. We communicated exclusively via text prior to the day of the event. Despite that Zohra understood clearly what I wanted and was fully prepared. She was extremely professional throughout the entirety process. The wedding started early in the morning, had a dress change a few hours in, and we had the reception in the evening. Zohra and Sapna arrived at 5:30am and stayed with me the whole day to ensure they were available at the times needed. All of the makeup and the drapings were completed very quickly and efficiently and turned out gorgeous. They truly did a beautiful job!! Super glad to have worked with Zohra for my big day!

Zohra is a professional and experienced makeup artist! Her vanity has high end products with great accessories. She will make you feel very comfortable with your looks as she is considerate of your choices. Her team is great to work with as well for draping and hairstyling. Most of all she's great at communication! Please hire her for your next event!
