I got married in December and we hired XD Pro event as our decorator. My experience was similar to that of Gaurav Jena and Ashwasana. Initially they claimed to be a team of two, Ms Ankita and Mr Deepesh. As soon as the advance payment was done there was static silence from the team. I didn't get any process presentation. The team was not in touch with me till the day before the wedding. We had very clearly conveyed what we wanted for the decoration. When I asked Deepesh when he would show the designs to be printed or what decoration is he going to use, he made me count his troubles. When I and my family asked any more questions about why the work hasn't been done, he gaslighted us. After Deepesh's much back and forth with me and my family, the decorations looked ok and were appreciated. However the process of working with them was difficult.

Our experience with XD pro was terribly harrowing. Deepranjan Das (owner-XD pro) is extremely irresponsible and totally incapable of running his venture. His immoral nature and laid back attitude costed us badly. He claims to be a design graduate from NIFT but the quality of work delivered by him was extremely sub standard with pathetic aesthetic sense. We made the biggest mistake of our lives trusting him for our wedding decor. He caused terrible mental harassment to me and my family which will haunt us for the rest of our lives. He doesn’t have the decency and basic professionalism to note down the points at the time of discussions. He was spoon fed and was given detailed presentations with visual references from our end giving clear instructions of how we wanted the decor for each event. Even after such assistance, he miserably failed to execute even 50% of what he was asked to do. After taking enough advance money and ruining 3 of our events he had the audacity to send messages to falsely show that he’s chasing us for payments. He is shamelessly misquoting that we were unavailable and not making payments on time. Whereas in reality we along with his vendors were constantly trying to get in touch with him to discuss everything and he was unavailable almost everytime. He lacks basic colour sensibility and can’t even differentiate between pastel and loud colours. Till the very last day he kept enforcing his awful combinations for our home decor. His co-partner, Sagarika Panda didn’t show up at all and was unaware about the happenings but is now magically emerging out of nowhere. Moreover his vendors were complaining about him and had clearly indicated that they were not being paid timely causing delay in material sourcing. His inefficiency and callousness was well noted by all the venue managers. On the day of the main event, the wedding venue was available since 7AM yet the decor work began at 3PM that too after the hotel manager along with my mother blasted him for doing so. The decoration was totally skewed and not up to the mark. It was far from what he had discussed with us. More than half of the major elements listed on the invoice sheet were missing. The haldi setup too was in total shambles and was being executed when the guests had arrived. Nothing except for the main stage and grotesque carpeting was given. These people shamelessly give reviews and rating to themselves on Wed Me Good and other platforms. We warn you all reading this to not make the mistake of trusting these utterly unprofessional and fraudulent people. Wed me good should verify such vendors before giving them the handpicked badge. Deepranjan and his team don’t deserve to be picked by anyone. If any proof needs to be furbished to back my issue I’ll be happy to do so.
