Unni PS

Unni is very much hyped MUA in Kerala. I booked him for my two functions including wedding. The amount of good reviews from family and friends developed a trust in me that I would look the best in my big day. Unfortunately, I understood his quality of work when he came in for my functions. He did not arrive on time. He blamed his assistant saying that he did not show up on time. The worst part was that he came in with two of his assistants and they were acting immature and unprofessional. They were cracking lame jokes while doing the work. They had their own inner jokes. Unni asked for my ornaments and when he saw my chain he said ayye… hearing that I felt offended. For my first function, he gave me cakey makeup look without proper blend. Seeing the mirror I was sad and couldn’t tell him anything as he arrived super late. The next day I called him and told him that I wasn’t satisfied with his work. He got offended and made a big deal. He said no one has made such a comment and all. He even threatened my dad on the day before wedding saying that he won’t show up the next day. We were stressed as he put us in a pathetic situation. The next day he came in and acted too much by teasing me. Unni thinks that he is wanted because of celebrities. I willl never ever recommend this guy to anyone. Waste of money.. The saddest part is that no one will believe because of his popularity. He actually ruined my big day.

I had booked Unni PS around 1 year before my wedding. I was in kochi and I come to know a day before my wedding that Unni is in Dubai and that he is stuck there with covid-19 and unable to come back. Upon reaching out to him he agrees and he assigns me to a totally new person exactly 24 hours before my big day and I talk to this new totally random make up artist and confirm him at 11PM the previous night when I have to wake up at 4:30 AM for my muhurtham at 9 AM. Overall it was a very stressful experience and he didn’t tell me if he could make it until the last moment only to retain me as a customer paying him 50K till he could find out if he could come back to kochi. He had the responsibility to tell me that this was the case when he found out he was covid positive about 10 days before and that would have given me more time to look for another make up artist and saved me a lot of stress and worry on the day before my wedding! It was totally uncalled for. Overall, I DO NOT RECOMMEND HIM as he IS NOT the kind of person you can trust to do your wedding make up even if you pay him an advance and I WISH NOONE EXPERIENCES THE STRESS I WENT THROUGH. Totally unprofessional , DO NOT RECOMMEND! FYI he offers no make up trial either!
