Mixbag team were the geniuses behind our 6 event wedding. We are an NRI couple, with groom from south of India and bride from north, having a destination wedding in Kerala. It could not have been possible without our amazing wedding planners. Communication 10/10 Flexibility 10/10 Professionalism 10/10 Attention to detail 10/10 Creativity 11/10 Both Tanvi and Shilpa were thoroughly involved in the whole wedding process. They understood well our cultural requirements as well as our wedding vision. I had to agree I had some OTT ideas for my entry ( walking on water) that I thought couldn't happen, but to my surprise, they came up with a creative solutions to match the vision and within budget. There attention to detail and personal touch is what was appriated most by our family and guests. Hosting a Delhi style wedding in Kerala was one of the big challenges we had in planning phase, we where amazed by how they implemented, it was not just about the grand setting, but also about minute details which make it special, for us and our guest. I am specially thankful to some of the suggestions/ advice they gave during planning that made a big difference on my big day. They come from lot of experience and it shows. I would 100 percent recommend Mixbag for you wedding planning.

Ours was definitely the best wedding we’ve ever been to! My parents had the vision of getting us married in fashion similar to theirs. Which was from our family home in Lucknow, where everyone stayed together in one big house. But with my wife’s family coming to India all the way from US - that wasn’t going to be feasible. Thankfully, we had the MixedBag team working with us right from the beginning. We found a boutique Haveli - about 20 mins away from the city centre. It was perfect. It had a big aangan and beautiful lawn, we could see all our guests being together in one place for their stay. We had found ourselves an incredible venue. There was just one problem, the hotel only had 30 rooms. We needed 60. But to make my parents vision a reality the team came up with an ingenious solution - let’s book all the rooms in the surrounding boutique hotels. And with the whole moholla now reserved, we knew we had found the right venue for the wedding. Leading up to the occasion, they with us on every step of the way - from the decorations, to setting the menu, coordinating with the DJ, the photographer, the Mehendi, the shopping, the return gifts, and all the logistics in between. Perhaps a true testament to their expertise is in the fact that the second time we visited the venue was only a day before our wedding :) And what amazing celebration it was! We held five events Mehendi, Haldi, Cocktails, Wedding and Reception over two and a half days, with only a few hours between each function - but it felt as if each one was held at a different place. Their decor gave the venue a different flavour for each ceremony, and when we look back at the photos, we can’t believe it was all done in one place! Perhaps one of our favourite memories from the wedding is walking into the aangan for our Haldi, and finding a little cartoon cut-out of us (the bride and groom) and everyone lining up to take pictures next to it. So we knew that while we were getting ready all our guests were having a good time. And this was just one of their little touches. Every setting offered a unique experience. At one point during the wedding, a guest of ours gleefully called it “what a beautiful production”, another one said it was “the wedding of the year”, and one of my chacha’s exclaimed “I’ve never seen any parents so relaxed their children’s wedding!” . It was their little touches made the whole occasion very special - their finesse is probably unmatched. We’re extremely glad to have worked with the MixedBag Company for our wedding. They always spoke with each of us and took the time to understand our views, and expectations and shared the concepts they were working on - but to be honest, even after being involved through the process - we simply couldn’t have imagined how wonderfully everything would come together on our wedding day. What’s more? They made sure everything was done within our budget.

The MixedBag Company did a great job of organizing the most enjoyable and vibrant wedding for my son in Jaipur. Both Tanvi and Shilpa consulted us to understand our requirements and wishes for the decor, itinerary, and menu planning. They gave valuable suggestions, creative inputs, and surpassed our expectations in bringing together a beautiful 3-day event. Our guests were very happy, and the decor looked beautiful. Mixed bag did a wonderful job in bringing together the best of two cultures for my daughter's wedding. Both the North Indian and Marathi sides of the families enjoyed the carefully curated cuisine and the mix of festivities - from dholwalas and baraat to bangdi walas. My husband was also very happy since everything was done within budget.

Tanvi and Shilpa bring the perfect blend of management skills and creativity. They stayed up all night before my mehendi function supervising various vendors to make sure every detail was just as planned - a vendor sent the wrong colour of the canopy fabric which they immediately realised and resolved overnight. They were so proactive that we could relax and focus only on our guests. The decor was vibrant with fresh flowers and they even threw in a surprise custom created welcome board which the guests loved clicking pictures with. Best part - the Punjabi Dhol, Tanvi's idea, got everyone super pumped up.
