Sakshi’s ideas are insane. She & I got along very well from the start and her ideas were totally in sync with my vision. I’d like to point out, her execution isn’t very strong as her team is small and she’s not a big brand name. I wasn’t very happy with the final outfit at the day of the events. Having said that, if she makes a bigger team and brings in people who can execute big weddings at venues like Fairmont, she will go a long way in the wedding decor industry. Source

Single handedly ruined my wedding!!! When I contacted Sakshi to work on the decor of my wedding in Jaipur, she said to me that she would be busy on those dates but she did have a local team who could do the execution while she would take care of the design. Working with collaborators is very common in creative industries so it didn’t seem like a red flag to me. She assured me that her team was up to the task and she would be directing them every step of the way. I really liked her work that I saw on instagram and I asked for very basic, classic decoration. During our calls she seemed to understand what I was looking for and our ideas were aligned, so I decided to trust Sakshi with the decor of my wedding. I was very clear in what I wanted and did not change my brief throughout the process. Sakshi was consistently late to meetings or postponed them altogether, but because the presentations and ideas she sent to me matched the aesthetic I was looking for, I let it slide. I repeatedly asked her if she felt her team would be able to execute her vision and she assured me over and over that she was only giving them tasks she knew they could handle and that she would be there on the first day of the two-day event to go over and explain what is to be done for both days. Not only was Sakshi not there until late in the evening of the first day, the head of her so-called team (Mohna and Co.) wasn’t at the venue until half an hour before the first event began. Working with them was a nightmare for both days, each element of the decor was simply wrong and not even close to what was presented to us in the design meetings. Everything got delayed because Mohna was late. The colours of flowers were all wrong. The stage design was a pixelated photo of tiles taken from Google. The linens were dirty and the wrong colour, a lot of the decor was left unfinished and the placement of furniture was haphazard and chaotic. They said they would go and measure the venue and plan accordingly, but they clearly didn’t and nothing fit the space as it should have. When we finally met Sakshi on the day and I asked her to tell me the truth, she admitted that this was not actually her team, Mohna had only assisted her once before. Sakshi straight-up lied to me and single-handedly ruined my wedding. She took no responsibility for the whole debacle, and didn’t even offer me a single apology. I am not that person who was expecting some kind of magical feeling at my wedding, all I wanted was a small wedding where I could have fun with my friends and family with minimal, simple decor, and I couldn’t even spend time with my family because I spent the entire two day event running around calling these two women and trying to salvage the event while they tried to gaslight me, saying that the wrong colour linens they were using were actually correct, among other nonsensical things. I wish she had just told me that she wouldn’t be available and been upfront that Mohna was not actually a member of her team and just a random person who assisted her one time, I would’ve gone with a different vendor and saved myself a world of pain. In the end, I just want to say, whether or not you decide to work with Sakshi, if she says she is booked on the day and has a ‘team’ that can do the work, please take that with a grain of salt.
