The Benzene Studio

I visited *The Benzene Studio* in New Colony, Gurugram ( Haryana ) for hair smoothening and botox, hoping for a great experience. *Unfortunately*, my hair got burned near the roots. When I raised my concern, the owner's behavior was shocking and unprofessional. *He responded with misbehavior, abusive language, and dismissed my complaint, making it the worst salon experience with the worst owner.*

I had an extremely bad experience with booking bridal make up. I generally don’t put much make up . For pre- bridal , the person who did my facial , left many details including doing facepack on front neck and also guiding me with do’s and don’ts after the facial . I had to complain and had a really good experience with my second facial afterwards. For my engagement, my make up was too flaky and thick that I had lines on my face due to smiling ( Ofcourse I would smile on my big day). Next day , during bridal make up , I was told that because I have laughter lines so it was inevitable to get wrinkles which btw with little make up I do( including foundation), I never had . Finally , my bridal make up - it was so bad that I ended up crying . They told me that I have pores , which I may , but I have never had such bad criticism on my skin and I have lived in not just India but many countries where people take skin care seriously ( also, what’s the point of make up when the imperfections are more visible after make up than before). After my crying , I requested them to completely wipe off everything and just do light touch up ( took 10 min) . It wasn’t the perfect but I had to say ‘yes’ and smile because I didn’t want to cry again and spoil the most important day of my life. Although that was my only day I dreamed of looking my best, sadly , I looked the opposite of how I look generally . It was really disheartening. They charged 15 k for the bridal make up which was really nothing for the price . It makes me so upset whenever I see my wedding pictures. But I am also happy to be vocal about removing my make up . I wish i had gone to someone else .

My rebounded hair became curly after two weeks. Keratin and smoothening treatment were done as suggested by Manish Arora and his hairstylist. Now they are not even responding to my messages. I would not recommend this place to anyone.
