Since our wedding was in Calcutta and I live in Singapore, I didn’t have the chance to do a trial and had to take a complete leap of faith. It really worked out - Sujit was able to nail the fresh, dewy skin I was going for and a lighter makeup look. He is a know-it-all who, sadly, does not know much about his job. He will constantly insult you if you ask anything or suggest anything. He takes 10 to 15 minutes to complete the entire makeup. In the end what you get is something you could have done yourself sitting at home instead of spending the money going to him. Extremely rude as a person. Even my dupatta and mukut was not fixed properly and came undone later. Please save yourself and don't ruin your wedding day by booking him.

Horrible experience with Sujit Paul. He arrived late on the day of my wedding and then kept threatening me and my mother that he would leave unless we started the make-up within 10 minutes. He was not ready to even go to the hotel ( 2 minutes distance from venue) as he was in a lot of hurry. He wrapped up my make up in roughly 15 minutes and my mother's in 5 minutes. He did not listen to my request and kept saying my recommendations were horrible and he knows it all. After he and his assistant left his hairdresser did a very unstable and bad-looking hair do. She was not ready to put on my head ornaments and kept asking my mother to give her all the gold jewellery all at once. When my mother denied sighting security reasons she blasted us and left leaving my look incomplete. Post leaving they kept calling me on my wedding day for payment. As I was very busy on the wedding day and the next day I was unable to make the payment. So instead of calling me they landed at my house and kept shouting threatening messages. I have done make up from other bridal artists for my other functions never had such a horrible experience. No wonder you will hardly see any online reviews for him. He takes on 10-15 brides on a day and rushes through most. Please save yourself on your wedding day and don't book him.
