Always the afterthought when all focus is spent on the photographer. But one wedding changed that. I recall a friend’s wedding video that captured all those intimate and special moments and good as the result was, its true value was revealed when less than a year later the bride’s father suddenly passed away. The memory of not just that day but also of her father was preserved in every detail. Not just an image in a book or frame but through video. The magic of that father daughter dance and every smile and laugh that defined him was preserved. I decided there and then that any wedding of my own would preserve everything that was special on the most special of days. To capture the life and the lives that shared it. You never know what the future holds but to my friend her wedding video is among the most precious things and her precious daughter born after the passing of her grandfather will some day know her granddad from the video that captured him walking his own daughter down the aisle and took her hand to dance. We decided early on in our wedding planning that our focus and budget was better spent on video and not on posed photographs. Everyone present had a phone or camera but none of them had the talent or eye that Richard could bring to the day. When we stumbled upon Richards website and looked at previous weddings we were absolutely blown away. We figured he was a videographer well beyond our reach and budget such was the polish and professionalism demonstrated. In fact, heavy hearted, we had actually booked a cheaper guy, but once Richard got in touch we didn’t hesitate in changing. Sure, he cost more but his end product blew everyone else out of the water. It’s not a video- it’s a cinematic masterpiece! His shots and edits, his choice of tracks, his use of drone footage, his unobtrusive and professional manner. Nothing in his package slipped below expectation. It merely surpasses. Our wedding was small due to venue but having a video that we could send worldwide meant everyone got to share our special day – there were as many tears of joy shed watching tv screens, phones, and laptops around the world as there were among those who witnessed it and we only have Richard to thank. Memories will always dull and grow dusty but our video will instantly clear those cobwebs and not just re-tell but relive a very, very special day and all who shared it. Its value to us, our family, our friends and to our future kids, god willing, will always be priceless and our gratitude to Richard accordingly. We couldn’t recommend him any more highly. We had really great time with the entire crew of story begining films Photography at our wedding in Ahemdabad & our pre wedding shoot carried in Anand. The quality of work and response of everyone in the crew was very humble and warm. Its been a year since then and the after service given by Amit and his team is amazing.
