Sajal Debnath Makeup Artist

While I was looking for the perfect make-up artist for my big day, the most important thing tha I had on the top of my mind was someone who would keep it subtle yet make me look gorgeous, that's when I found Sajal da. As the name perfectly suggests "Less is More", make-up artist Sajal Debnath abides by those words. He gave me a look beyond my imagination, I could trust him with my looks eyes closed, both my wedding and reception looks. I will forever be thankful to him for understanding my needs. Also, his behavior is really good, courteous, friendly, and is very very punctual. Also, not to forget how he guided me from the time of booking till the big day to help me get the perfect look, like guiding about veil and other knitting gritties like kamarbandh. ❣️ Also attaching a few pictures of the looks.

So my wedding was definitely not a regular wedding. In April 2023 we decided that we are getting married on 30th of June. My preparation was literally zero. So I started I asking and google searching around and the encounters I experienced were utterly disappointing. Also, I am not based out of Kolkata so everything was happening virtually. Cutting to the chest, a friend suggested me about Sajal. I called him it did not connect. We spoke on messages (in total i guess for just three days or even less). He was before time on the day of the event. He gave me the look I always dreamt of. I didn’t sweat even one drop! Sajal is cool, sajal is talented, sajal is magic! Be like Sajal. Also, I just love him!

sajal is undoubtedly an awesome artist, i booked him for my wedding day. I'm really satisfied about what make-up has done by sajal, but the hairstylist he bought made my day worse. he didn't make it properly, not even pinned my veil properly. i had to do all those by getting help from my aunt. they allotted me such an awkward time which is around 1.30pm and no Bengali bride can be free from the rituals by that time. though I tried to complete it as early as possible still that hairstylist kept annoy me by saying you are late so we won't complete and leave. I asked him once to curl my side hairs but he said it won't look good. now the bride has to listen up to the makeup artist as if its his wedding not mine. 🙂

Sajal is a brilliant makeup artist. He keeps things subtle and minimal and that creates magic. I loved my wedding day look. Highly recommended.

I came to know about Sajal through a common friend. He is an artist and takes his work very seriously. The amount of detailing in his work is incredible and his sense on colour matching deserves an applause. Very few make up artists understands what suits warm tone and colour theory. The pictures don’t do justice. Best MUA out there!
