I still remember like it was yesterday. initially I had seen all of Rani's work. Having had her previously do my makeup for my sisters weddings. Then my time came and I refused to settle for anything less. I have never felt so comfortable or relaxed in my entire life... those who know me know I am not the best when it comes to makeup application and I can be very picky when it comes to someone else doing it for me as I hate that caked on heavy feel of makeup which can be quite common for brides. With Rani I had no care, she took on from day one of what I was wearing to creating a look to match right down to the styling of my hair and I felt completely natural and elegant with all the glamour to add. each day unique in its own. She is one of the most humble, honest, caring and most beautiful souls I have ever met. her work speaks for itself and those who don't agree have no idea what they are talking about. her hands are simply magic and her ability to work with a broad range of skin tones and looks amazes me esp. my skin which is completely unevenly toned and eye bags that look like I have permanent black eyes. FYI every single unedited wedding photo i have was flawless. Hands down she is the best makeup artist I have seen or worked with to date! anyone who does not consider to book Rani would certainly regret it. With the way she made me feel and look if I could even with the stress which she melted away through her amazing capabilities (which is what every bride needs) I would get married everyday :) <3 <3

5 is not a high enough rating, I'd prefer 10/5. I met Rani when she was doing the makeup for my friend's wedding. It was approximately 3am and at that time in the morning I was wondering how someone could be so cheery and enthusiastic, especially whilst doing someone?s makeup. The best thing about our first meeting was that in the few hours that Rani was there, we bonded, laughed and had a lot of fun. That day I decided that if I ever got married, she would be the only person I would want to do my makeup. Cut to a few years later, It was time for me to get married and the only thing I insisted on was that Rani was going to do my bridal make up. My mum was really surprised because for anyone that knows me, I am not a make up kind of person, I absolutely hate getting dressed up, but this was my wedding and I knew that no one knew or understood me better than Rani. During my wedding I was a huge bundle of nerves, but Rani was the most amazing person by my side. She not only kept me at ease before my various functions, but we talked, chilled, laughed and had so much fun. My mum was freaking out because her only daughter was getting married, but Rani kept her calm and smiling and made sure that both mum and I got our own time with no interruptions. I think the best thing was that there was someone who understood me and knew what kind of look I was going for. Being a makeup artist is not just about applying make up, but really knowing a person and making them feel beautiful through out the entire process and that is exactly what Rani did. Apart from her great personality, she really, really, really knows her stuff. She is so precise and such a perfectionist. She has such a unique technique and she treats you as if you are a beautiful piece of art. She is not only an awesome makeup artist, but a wonderful person, friend and an absolute pleasure to be around. I have never looked as amazing as I did during my wedding and it was all thanks to Rani. Till this day my mum always tells me how much she adores Rani. She has that effect on people. Thank you for being so, so, so great to both mum and I. We are so thankful that you were such a huge part of my wedding. We love you!

Absolutely amazing experience!! As a person and a makeup artist she is phenomenal! Rani is unique and the makeup she does on you is unique, she expertly distinguishes your features and uses her artistry to make your own features stand out at its best!
