The Fairy Godparents of Weddings! I don’t know how they did it, but somehow, Swathi and Akshay turned my Pinterest board into reality—and made it look 100 times better. From the moment we met, I knew I was in good hands. They navigated my ever-changing wedding mood swings like pros. One minute I was all about rustic chic, and the next I was convinced we should elope in a hot air balloon (they somehow talked me down from that one). The wedding venue? *Thailand*. The stunning Sheraton. Swathi somehow made sure the entire thing felt like a dream vacation, with zero stress. Every detail was carefully curated, from the tropical flowers to the beachside ceremony. As for the vendors, let me tell you: Swathi did the heavy lifting. She looked at 80 different photographers before saying, “Yes, to Vyshnav.” And she was spot on Vyshnav photos are nothing short of magical—every shot was like a beautiful piece of art. I can’t even begin to explain how happy I am with the memories he captured. The same level of dedication went into every other vendor. Makeup? One certainly has their work cut out for themselves when planning an Indian wedding, but planning a destination wedding in India from a foreign country, with an Indian groom and American bride is quite the tall order. Swathi and her team at ouat were up for the challenge and were nothing short of extraordinary. Right from the initial consultation to the grand finale, every moment was infused with their impeccable professionalism and unwavering commitment. The following is a brief summary of our experience. Our search for a venue began with reaching out to Swathi . We had attended a wedding that ouat had managed and were quite impressed with their work. To begin with, during the venue selection process, Akshay personally escorted us to all the potential properties and introduced us to their respective management teams. He was also very helpful in sharing the strengths and weaknesses of each option and provided us with diligent counsel. In addition, due to Akshay's personal relationship with our venue's management team, we were able to get answers for all our questions and concerns and hence were able to narrow down to a decision that met our needs. Furthermore, the ouat team was also extremely helpful during planning and execution of the events. In regard to the decor planning, the team was readily available for conference calls and shared a genuine willingness to accommodate our preferences. In particular, we appreciated their quick turn around with decor recommendations and providing visual presentations when required. The execution of the decor was remarkable. Every event was decorated tastefully and adhered to our requirements and standards. Ouat was also instrumental in coordinating between us and the food and beverage team. Being foodies, we needed special attention to our catering needs and ouat ensured that the hotel's F&B team was receptive to our requests. In regard to guest management and logistics, Hrithik and aneesh at ouat were on the mark. They ensured that all our guests were well taken care of and catered to their every need. In particular, they arranged for transportation for a wide array guests traveling both internationally and domestic. During the ceremonies and events their expert coordination ensured that everything flowed seamlessly. They provided us with shadows and additional hands to assist family members and thereby allowed us to bask in the joy of our special days without a worry in the world Entertainment at the events was also coordinated well by ouat. They provided us with good recommendations for DJa and artists and even arranged for a Sufi musical night with live entertainment for one of our events. It is also noteworthy that ouat made travel and stay arrangements for our choreographer and anchor. Finally, I would also like to bring attention to a few smaller details that often go unmentioned. Specifically, the recommendation of the photographer and the assistance provided by Regan took spectacular pictures of the wedding and worked well with the ouat team to best capture our special moments. In a nutshell, ouat was seamlessly able to meld traditional customs with contemporary flair. They ensured that our guests and family were treated well and given a memorable experience. Once again a big thank you to OUAT events for making our wedding a magical experience that exceeded all expectations. We spoke to 20 + wedding planners. Here is my honest review. We knew Swathi had to be the one to plan our wedding as soon as we met her. She was enthusiastic to plan OUR wedding, she came up with so many ideas and also requested us to talk to a few more planners before finalising her. Honesty, punctuality & creativity is admirable and the level of patience is off the chart. She was there to answer my 02:00 AM call, just because I was overwhelmed, she was there to sit down and talk to me between the executions because I had cold feet.YES YES, I was a handful. But not once did she bail out on me. Akshay on the other hand took care of all the logistics/ paperworks / vendor managements. What a duo! No one could have executed this wedding like they did ❤️ We love you and we would definitely recommend everyone reading this to finalise OUAT, they made our dream wedding come true.❤️
