Moments of Life Events

I had been wanting to post this review for a long time. It has been almost two months since my wedding, and I feel it’s important to share my experience. My husband chose Moments of Life Events as the food vendor for our wedding. We discussed all our requirements with Ankita, and initially, we were impressed by the commitments she made, especially her assurance that everything would be managed within our budget. Haldi Function – 14th Nov 2025 (Afternoon) Unfortunately, the guest count was lower than expected. On the positive side, all the menu items we had selected were available, and the food tasted good. However, we later found out that expired water bottles were being served to guests, which was extremely disappointing. While I was getting ready for my Sangeet, Ankita came to my room during my makeup and informed me that we would need to purchase additional juices at extra cost. I was surprised that this discussion was happening at such a critical moment. For context, I had informed her that the expected guest count for Haldi was 150–180, but the actual attendance did not even cross 120. Basic event management knowledge suggests that vendors prepare a little extra than the expected count. Given the lower turnout, it was unclear how the stock ran short. Sangeet Function – 14th Nov 2025 (Evening) For the Sangeet, I had booked both food and SFX services with her. While the food quality and taste were again very good, the SFX failed during my entry, and even during the ring exchange, it did not work as expected. When it came to food service, servers were being told to hold back food, and guests were left waiting. Although all menu items were prepared, they were not served properly, causing inconvenience to guests. The expected guest count was 250, and there were hardly 200 guests, yet service issues persisted. Wedding Day – 15th Nov 2025 (Evening) Food preparation was good once again, but serving was poorly managed. There was a shortage of water, and my family members had to step in, purchase water bottles separately, and distribute them among guests. Ankita may be good at food preparation, but event management and execution need significant improvement. I am not saying she is bad, but I personally feel you cannot fully rely on her for such an important day. Please be mindful and cautious before booking her for any event, especially weddings where smooth execution is critical.
