Beware of Mr Mohit Dutta. He is most mannerless person. He had trolled me and used derogatory, humiliating and insuting words in a post. My comment was regarding Bollywood and it was my personal opinion and did not by any means concerned Mr Mohit Dutta. Still IF he did not agreed to my comment he could have said so in a mannerful and respectful tone. But he belittled me, insulted me and used derogatory words. Pls don't take service of Catering of Delhi as Mr Mohit Dutta has no manner to speak even to strangers on facebook over posts which doesn't concern him.

I probably should have known Mohit Dutta was trouble when he showed up at my in-laws place wearing a shirt buttoned down to his navel and failed to take off his sunglasses during the entire meeting. He had little regard for our wishes and seemed to think his food was the main event at our wedding. He demanded we provided specific spotlights to highlight his tables. The food was good, I’ll give him that, but by no means worth the drama he caused us before, during ánd after our wedding. We hit rock bottom on the day of our sangeet because we asked for 3 tables (out of the 18 Mohit requested) to be taken away as it was cutting into the dance floor. Mohit went into a full-fledged mental break down and sent my husband a text message (6 hours before our guests were going to show up) “I’ll just come to the house and give you your money back”. We even suggested reducing the amount of food so we’d need fewer tables without changing the price, but that didn’t fly either. He screamed profanities at us and our friend (and his mother and aunt who also knew him as well) who was trying to mediate. My husband and I frantically tried to find another caterer to do the job, and we did. Realizing we weren’t impressed with his hysterics apparently brought Mohit back to his senses and he eventually calmed down. Since his food had already been prepared -- and was on its way when he threatened to pull the plug -- we didn’t want to waste all of it and allowed him to cater our event but banned Mohit himself from the premises. After the wedding it turned out we owed the other caterer (who we’d hired during Mohit’s breakdown) a $2000 cancellation fee. I called Mohit to ask him to pay for it since it was only due to his hysteria that we were in that situation to begin with. He once again yelled at me, accused me of blackmailing him and blocked me on Whatsapp. Because that’s what all adult professionals do. Needless to say, our friend and his family, upon whose recommendation we’d hired Mohit to begin with, won’t ever be using his services again either. So, unless your wedding isn’t stressful enough and you’re in need of some dramatics – do not hire this guy. PS. The tenthouse guy who Mohit had suggested to us, Chotu (Chhotu Light & Tent House), was incredible throughout all of this. Instead of allowing Mohit temper to hijack our day he calmly instructed his guys to keep setting up and refused to be pressured to leave. Apparently Mohit told him he’d never use him again if he didn’t leave right away.
