Worst experience ever! Ordered an outfit thru grand trunk! It arrived taped in a plastic bag, and when i open it, i was disappointed! I spent. 1000$ and received an outfit worth 200$ at most. Cheaply made, poor material. It was advertised as silk!! Good service when i placed an order. And was ignored when i complained, and asked for my money back. Gave custom measuments, and it’s not even close. 2-3 iches off. I did not get a refund or an apology! What about customer satisfaction? Label doesnt care? I spent 1000$, i should get what i paid for? Or make it right by fixing the issue. Just ignore the customer after you get your money? Is that how you do business?

With 2 lehengas already in line I was sure I wanted a Sharara. I had come across the designer Mayyur Girotra while I was shopping for my Trousseau and at that time I knew the kind of outfit I wanted for Mehendi would be from Mayyur Girotra. A few months before the wedding they had recently launched their new collection Zamani. Heena who is the director at Mayyur Girotra showed me this sharara from their Zamani collection. This was the first outfit I tried and within a matter of 5 mins we had finalized this outfit. It was the best decision and the outfit turned to be so easy going, chic and at the same time really stood out for me as a bride.Source

The quality of the work of Mayyur Girotra is fantastic! I was drawn to their modern touch to patola and gota pati work. For my garba event, I wanted a traditional look and the lenghas from Mayyur Girotra were perfect for it! I purchased the lengha and vest for my husband via Whatapp as I am in the US and could not shop in India. The only downside I experienced was that communication was choppy with the company. The customer service was just so so during the process. I purchased the lengha before they went live with their store and didn't complete a virtual tour of the showroom, so my purchase was largely based on their instagram! Overall though, I was so impressed with the quality of the work of my lengha and my husband's vest (though we ended up botching the measurements so it wasn't a perfect fit for him)...but regardless everyone gave us SO many compliments! The coordination was absolutely perfect, and the complimentary matching masks were a wonderful touch! My husband loved quality and richness of the designers work so much that he's already decided we'll be buying outfits from them in the future! :)
