Maquillage by Deepika Verma

I am writing to express my extreme disappointment with the services provided at Maquillage by Deepika Verma. As a first-time client seeking bridal makeup services, my experience was nothing short of a nightmare. During my pre-bridal appointment, I encountered several hygiene issues that were utterly unacceptable. I was shocked to find small cockroaches floating in the glass of water they handed me. I mean, seriously? When I brought it up, they apologized, but the hygiene overall was a mess. The sheets, towels—everything was dirty and looked like it had been used. I had to insist they change them, and even then, the replacements had stains all over. What's worse, they had already taken the full payment upfront, which felt like a bad sign. Fast forward to my wedding day, and the problems just kept coming. I arrived at the studio at 5:30 PM, expecting Deepika, the owner, to be there. But she was nowhere to be found, despite my repeated calls and messages to let them know I was coming. When she finally showed up at 7:30 PM, it was already late in the evening. She hurriedly took me to a closed room and started on my makeup. Despite my clear instructions, she put in lenses and went heavy on the blush, which I specifically asked her not to. I ended up tearing up from the discomfort caused by the lenses, and the heavy blush made me look like a clown in my wedding photos. One of the eyelash extensions was also misplaced, constantly bothering me throughout the night. And to top it off, she was more focused on taking pictures and videos for her Instagram than on doing my makeup properly. When I tried to wrap things up because I was running late, it was already 9:00 PM, she got angry and refused to let me go, insisting on continuing the photo shoot. She even shouted at me and ordered her staff to throw me out of the studio when I insisted on leaving. In summary, my experience at Maquillage by Deepika Verma was not only disappointing but also distressing. Deepika's disregard for client preferences and her unprofessional conduct reflect poorly on her salon. I strongly advise others against patronizing her establishment, as the quality of service does not justify the investment of time and money. Moreover, I was shocked to discover that despite explicitly requesting that my images not be used, Deepika disregarded my wishes and proceeded to publish them on Instagram. It took reporting her to get them removed. I just had to share my experience so others don't have to go through the same ordeal. Thanks for listening.
