Don't hire her. Very unprofessional - no double sided tape to fix maang tikka, shabby hair styles, no bindi or hair accessories. Did not want to drape lehenga dupatta also. I regretted hiring her for my wedding. Edit -- adding more context after her comment For a wedding makeup artist (7000 Rs for bridal, 3500 for sangeet, 1500 trial), she had no bindi, jewelry (maang teeka), she didn't even have any hair accessories (stylist hair pin or even fresh flowers, even though she promised fresh flowers for the wedding), hair switch (to give volume to hair), falsies (eyelashes) or even heavy duty safety pin (for dupatta). She didn't even change out nail polish, and made me feel bad about the one I had on ("I would have done a much better job"). She didn't even drape dupatta for the bride. She does not have any discipline, was 2 hours late for sangeet make up and lied about car breakdown. I waited for her at the venue for over 2 hours. She was late to the trial makeup too. On wedding day, she was in a rush throughout, I was 30 mins late to reach her (Reached at 2:30 instead of 2, was late due to my haldi ceremony; not 7 hours as she claims, my reception was at 6 pm, she got to the venue at 2 pm, left by 4 pm. I have wedding videos as proof. Such a lie, anyway). A makeup artist should be flexible because weddings do incur delays. You would not want an unprofessional like her to ruin your wedding day. I've been married for almost 2.5 years now, and not a single day goes by when I don't deeply regret hiring her. Her makeup came off in 2 hours and hair became loose, my heavy wedding dupatta came off completely (she had secured it with only 2 flimsy pins which got bent and came off in 2 hours), all my wedding pics were ruined. People commented that I looked tired and my makeup was poorly done at the reception stage. I didn't wish to pay her for her pathetic service, but paid regardless (I had written her a cheque before she left the venue but stopped payment next day). Instead of apologizing for ruining my wedding day, she called endlessly, threatened and registered a police complaint. Apart from that, she will lurk your WhatsApp, steal your photo and share on Instagram without permission. It is unprofessional to the core. I could have easily posted my pathetic experience on all her platforms - IG, UrbanClap but decided not to ruin her businesses. Her lies about wait time demands the truth be told. And yes, wedding makeup artists do secure maang teeka, not leave it dangling around. For sangeet too, she did not do any falsies, hair accessories or nail polish. Even non bridal makeup is done in a much better manner. Rest it's your wedding, please choose your makeup artist wisely. Not worth your time or money. I had her do my mom's makeup too, again no bindi or nice hairstyle, simply combed her hair out. Lying about your customers will not give your more business, please work on improving your service. Thanks for ruining my wedding, sending many harassment calls, threat msgs, and registering police complaint. I still gave her 3 stars because her makeup did look good for the first 2 hours (before it melted and hair came loose). She did the makeup and hair styling for me on my wedding day. She is very professional and talented in her field of work. The makeup that she did stayed on for quite a long time.
