Makeup by Maitreyi

My make up was done by Maitreyi. I'm a "plain Jane", always have been. I prefer keeping things natural and that was a key criteria when I was looking for a make up artist. Maitreyi was highly recommended to me by a close friend, and I got extremely positive vibes from her in our first meeting. I told her I would like to use as many vegan and cruelty free products as possible, and she understood my cause and vision. She was super sweet, so easy to talk to and very punctual on the days of our events. She gave me that natural look I was hoping for, and for that I am so grateful! Her makeup skills are amazing - glam, understated, and beautiful, and she uses clean, high quality products. Had the most chill fun time working with Maitreyi for my pre-wedding events. She did two looks for me, both stunning, and understated. I was stressed coming into the day but her calm and easy going demeanor made it easy for me to relax and enjoy the moment. She did a super fresh, subtle yet beautiful look for my morning wedding and a soft glam look for my Sangeet. She knew exactly what I needed and was very forthcoming in sharing looks and hairstyles that would suit me. I enjoyed the process a lot since she was calm, helpful, and sweet from the time I booked her all the way up till the events! I simply cannot recommend her enough. Maitreyi did my youngsters and sangeet makeup and I’m so glad she was the one to do those. She is the most patient person and understands your preferences perfectly. I’ve always preferred a natural look and she gave me just that. She went beyond my expectations to make me feel comfortable and carry myself with confidence. The makeup she did lasted really long I looked fresh for the entire time on both the functions. Also, she did my mom’s makeup on the wedding day and kept in mind that she has major issues with getting makeup. Maitreyi did a brilliant job and my mom was super happy! I chanced about Maitreyi through a friend’s recommendation and I am so glad I did! She did my mehendi makeup and made me look like the freshest, brightest and most cheerful version of myself - simply because I couldn’t stop smiling the whole day at how natural yet polished I looked! I can’t wait to get a chance to work with her again - not only did she go above and beyond for me, she also managed to handle my reluctant mom and did her makeup for both my mehendi and the wedding day! 10/10 recommend her if you’re looking to look like the best version of yourself on any special occasion ♥️

Her ability to enhance your features without making you look to made-up differentiates her from many other makeup artists.
