Extremely unprofessional. She was always unavailable to take calls after making the advance payment. Even on the two days of the event she turned up 2 hrs late and was not answering the phone. Didn't discuss the makeup look prior to executing. She has her own standards of beauty and will try to force that on you. For me she pushed me to have my upper lips over drawn with lipstick, whereas I was perfectly happy with my thin lips. She might be good with her hands but she is the epitome of unprofessionalism and will keep you on tentherhooks on your D day. Added bonus, she edited the video review that i recorded for her and kept out the parts where I had highlighted her unprofessionalism. Didnt have the basic decency of sharing the pics that she took of me with her own mobile phone despite following up repeatedly

I would like to give Kanak makeup artist a 5 star . I am very happy with the beauty packages and the services provided by them. Recently i booked makeup from her for 2 marriages and she did an excellent work (Kanak did a mind blowing job and other staff members too, sorry forgot their names ;-) , loved their hairstyles. Must say the staff is of such great help. Personally i would recommend her for the beauty packages and makeovers. Kanak is a really nice person and would give genuine advice to all. Thank you

My bridal makeup was an experience in itself. And I must say, an amazing one for sure. To begin with, months before the wedding, when I had just finalized Kanak for my bridal makeup we met and she was like my next best friend who was preparing me for my Big Day :) She gave me a lot of tips and tricks to prep my skin for the special day and also recommended products and suggested ways to improve and maintain my skin. On the day of the marriage, they setup their decked-up workstation and turned the hotel room into a beauty salon. They were all really good together. The whole process of "bridal makeup" for me was wonderful. I had talked to Kanak about how I love natural looks and subtle makeup, also shared my past bad makeup experience :P due to which I had nightmares!! And I must say, the whole team did an amazing job - both the hair and the makeup came out beautifully well. There was a smooth texture and a soft glow. Also, I had to travel to Bhubaneshwar from Delhi the next day after my Vidai the makeup stayed well even after 18+ hours of makeup. They were able to perfectly create the look that I wanted, which held for the entirety of my event . We had three women getting their hair and makeup done on the eve of my wedding, so I knew that we were quite a large undertaking for any hair/makeup team. But Kanak ma'am and her team were able to beautifully complete everyone’s looks with time to spare. They really listened to our ideas and were able to create different, lovely styles that suited each individual woman. The entire evening went so smoothly thanks to their skill and professionalism.... Will not recommend Kanak to anyone as she is a lot unprofessional, greedy, arrogant and apart from that she will lie to you. Me experience: I booked Kanak for my engagement and haldi makeup as my wedding makeup artist was not free on those 2 days. At the time of booking she confirmed that she will do the makeup at my place. Some days before marriage,she told that already she had one engagement makeup booked prior to me which she forgot at the time of booking and she want me to come at the venue which was nearby and she will book the room there. As i was not having any other option i said ok but took promise from her that no other makeup apart from us and i need to get ready on time. But when i reached i found she had 10-12 other party makeups booked for that bride too. I was in shock although she had one other artist with her. Just imagine you have paid lot of amount to get urself ready at your venue. As a result you are getting ready with one other engagemnt bride with 10-12 other relatives. I dont want to spoil my mood and occasion so i didnt said much to her at that time , just told her to please communicate to the family member to speak little slower but then also they didnt listen. I got little late too. I read her reviews after my marriage and i found that she has done the same thing earlier also that made me believe that she took that other makeup by choice not by mistake as noone can repeat same mistakes again. Her greediness is too much that she fools people like this. Her makeup was fine but her pattern of makeup is older, apart from that she is too arrogant which you are not going to feel before the occasion at all. If she is getting late then she will keep irritating you and left the place with her hairstylist and spoiled my sister makeup. I will never recommend her to anyone, as professionalism means lot to me and she was not at all professional, apart from that she is greedy and arrogant. I faced lot other things which i cant write but dont book her.
