Makeover by Deekshita

My sister booked Dekshitha for her wedding and her sister-in-law’s wedding. On September 4th and 5th, her team arrived at the venue around 2-3 PM, checked into their room, and began makeup after being called. They finished around 5 PM and went back to their room. During the engagement on September 5th at 9:30 PM, they complained the room was hot and asked for an AC, but my sister was busy and told them she would address it later. They continued calling excessively, causing her to switch off her phone. By 10:30 PM, we discovered they had left for Coimbatore without informing us. She also texted personally, saying, "Wow, you switched off your phone," to which the response was, "We arranged safe and clean rooms with attached bathrooms. If you needed AC rooms, you should have informed us before booking." They arrived late for the morning makeup, claiming they couldn’t sleep due to the heat. The makeup was subpar not blended properly and it was very dull , with poorly done hair and untrimmed flowers. It was a stressful experience, and we almost had to find a replacement at the last minute. I would not recommend booking these unprofessional and inconsiderate people for your special day.

"Any artist would do a job for money, but Deekshitha and her team are only focused on money, not the work. They don’t provide proper details and have hidden charges. We paid the full amount for the event, including bride and bridesmaid makeup, but upon arrival, they informed us that saree draping and hair extensions would cost extra. It is the responsibility of the makeup artist to mention these additional charges before payment. We paid almost ₹1,20,000, but she did not bother to inform us about the extra costs. Even when we agreed to pay, they demanded ₹1,000 for lehenga draping while we were getting ready for the reception. Since we were in a hurry, we told them we would pay later, but Deekshitha rudely insisted on the payment while I was doing my makeup and already running late for the reception. They asked for that 1000! 5-6 times in 5 minutes . Such money-minded, rude, and arrogant behavior spoiled our mood during the function and upset everyone. We sent pictures of the hairstyle we wanted for the reception, but while we were getting ready, they informed us that it could not be done for the bridesmaids as it was meant for the bride and would incur extra charges. Although we were willing to pay the extra cost, the hairstyle could not be done due to their team’s incompetence. Overall, it was a completely disappointing and wasteful experience.

Money minded… didn’t use products … very rude …. She created unwanted problem… ruined my big day… paid 35k ….. not at all worth… highly disappointed … regret booking her…cut off using most products… she wants full money but not using required products… only minimal products used… she said any look u ask I will do during booking.. while doing makeup she said I don’t do heavy makeup.. then Why did she promise …made a bad choice of make up artist… she spoke sweet during booking but totally rude while makeup day…annoyed my family members…asked full money before starting makeup though I paid half as advance 1 month earlier….… did a basic makeup…didn’t use primer, highlighter, Kajal, setting spray , lips she didn’t line properly, No blush , despite all mess she created I paid full amount since she behaved cheap in front of family members and camera team… I had to touch up with lipliner, blush, highlighter. While removing makeup nothing was there on the removed tissue … absolutely minimal products…. Not worth at all…

Makeup is not worth the amountshe charges. no proper communication. so much money oriented. she had one more booking on my wedding. She came for makeup so late and did my makeup in hurry. assistants were also simply lethargic. I thought the high price is for the products but the makeup got oxidised for and didnotstay long.Even for simple flowers she will charge high.

We had booked Ms.Deekshita for my cousin’s engagement ceremony. And she was the best choice we made with. My cousin looked stunning and awe-striking. Since it was a lockdown engagement, we had lesser people in the venue and major crowd on live telecast. Not just the people in the venue but who were on the live too sending their love for her makeover on the comments. It was such a big hit. Cannot thank her enough. And what not, we definitely booked with her for my cousin’s wedding too.

My engagement was super sudden and fast, luckily this girl squeezed time for me. She finished makeup for another client and came for mine, she was on time. She was so warming and clear with what she was doing. Having a big fat family, I definitely couldn’t give her privacy everyone had their own comments and opinions when she was doing her makeup on me she handled everyone with ease and managed her work in what she is the best. Out of all the makeup artists in and around Tamilnadu she is definitely outstanding, not just making me more beautiful she made my tensed moments too chilling. I love you Deekshita 😘
