I hired Cher for hair and makeup for three of my wedding events in December 2014. Here are the good points: Pankti - the person I dealt with was very polite, easy to work with and efficient in communication, I found this refreshing compared to other vendors in Ahmedabad. The salon is clean and well appointed. The staff are mostly well mannered - except the receptionists. The waxing , manicure and pedicure services are fantastic. Sadly, the negatives were enough to make me question my choice of make up artist. I paid a premium price so that I could have the premium services of Lata from Cher - the owner. Unfortunately I did not feel that she was genuinely interested in understanding my personality and what kind of look I want. I felt that Lata was insisting on her own way. She was very heavy handed with the make up - the application and overall look seemed quite old school. Lata left halfway through my dressing session before my wedding, without even letting me know. I don't think that is the best thing to do to a jittery bride.I found this a bit disturbing and unprofessional. Cher also refuses to do make up trials - even if you insist on paying for them. I think they should review this policy. Had I known that my experience would be as shakey as it was, I may have considered not hiring Cher. In general - they are okay, not bad. A polite bunch but not exactly what every girl dreams of for her wedding day.
