Hi komal, Thanks for the reply on above review of deepshikha verma. I am one of her friend who was there. 1. Ajay was very well informed about the 2nd makeup and he asked for 7k more which he was paid on the spot because he refused to do the makeup without the extra amount that he has charged. 2. The service you provided was worst experience dont blame on the location since you have already charged extra amount( i.e just the double) because the quality of product you have used was terrible. The foundation base and everything was pathetic. I cann?t find a better word. He evend forgot to bring the false eyelash glue and used local glue. Is this the type of commitment we expected on the day of engagagement. We were patient enough and didnt uter a word that day because we really didnt want to spoil the day. AJAY misbehaved he did and that was not acceptable at all he refused to drape even lehnga dupata and asked us ? KARO AAP HEE KARO? is this the kind of service we expect that to on the day of engagement. All the thing and facility were provided from or end. You ppl just spoiled mt frnds ENGAGEMENT and we really dont want this to happen to someone else on there ocassion. Pathetic worst experience ever. And ever after doing such bad job u ppl have guts to defend yourself.

I am Deepshikha Verma's friend who was physically present on the engagement day i.e.the make up day. 1. First of all thankyou so much for letting me know the rules & regulations which were already known to us & thats the reason we paid the remaining amount that was too less than the amount already paid as ur respective artist Ajay refused to start until the amount was paid fully. 2. He was very well welcomed & proper hospitality was done to him inspite of his tantrums which were shown when our vehicle went from Lakhimpur to Lucknow to pick him up as per ur demands. After all this he came late. 3. If we are paying for something, we strictly want that.Water proof make up was required as per the payment but the make up done was not at all as per the deal.Whole make up was ruined due to sweat.And during the whole function the make up artist was absent.We all friends tried to maintain the make up which is really shameful on your part. 4. We believe that it was our duty to drop him back.We told ur artist the same but he was very arrogant & stubborn & he told that he knows the way & can easily go back by Volvo.And he left..Obviously no one will tolerate his tantrums, may be U can. Thank You.

I would also like to share my terrible and horrific experience . I had booked MAC HD bridal makeup for my Engagement. They sent one of their so callled makeup artist Ajay, who was so arrogant and threw so many tantrums on the venue.He said that he would not start the makeup untill he is not given the full money. in the name of MAC he hardly used 2 3 mac products, most of the products were from faces and some local brands. lastly after paying so much of money the makeup was not waterproof within half an hour it just melted along with sweat. I would strongly recommend each one of you not to book this salon if you do not want to ruin your wedding day.

Absolutely wonderful services by Komal Mahendru. I haven't seen any bride look so perfect on her wedding day as she made my sister-in-law look. With weddings in small cities, you're very skeptical about these things, mostly makeup of the bride. So if you're having a wedding in Lucknow you can blindly hire this artist. From a very very happy customer. :)

I am specially taking out time to reviews this because of my horrific experience . I had booked MAC HD bridal makeup for my wedding and 5 party makeup for my family members .I also had gone for trail makeup before my D-day costing Rs. 5000/- because I dint want any surprises on my D-day. First of all, for trial makeup, Komal hardly spent good 15 mins discussing the eye makeup or hairstyle ,etc. On the day of my wedding, the parlor was overbooked and even though one would expect to get her bridal makeup done by komal herself(tats what was the understanding at the time of booking) , she allocated my makeup to be done by some other assistant. The makeup base itself was un-natural and cakey & after insisting many times , all the base was wiped out and a simple primer + natural base was put. She even forgot to put blush in the final look, which I dint realize then since I was already so late in all this chaos. Luckily I was carrying my own MAC peachtwist blush for safer side. Due to overbooked parlor , there were not much staff to attend to the party makeup for others. Poor management. All in all it was a horrifying experience and wouldn't wish anyone would have to face on their wedding day. :(

I went to Lucknow for a friend's wedding. My friend got her engagement and wedding makeup done from Komal itself. She is the sweetest makeup artist I came across. Not only she discussed about the look for good 10-15 mins but she also listened to any concerns we had regarding the eye makeup or hairstyles. I got my makeup(MAC HD light makeup) done from a senior makeup artist from there and though I had to keep checking in between the eye makeup and tell her what do I like and what I don't, she was completely patient and did exactly what I had asked her to do.
