Moitrei got me ready for my wedding reception and I deeply feel that it couldn't have been better. From day 1, she has been very professional and cooperative. I had asked for a subtle look, and she pulled it up so well, that I had received many compliments.

Moitreyi knows her work. She did good makeup. She worked as per what I had mentioned to her. I had told her minimal makeup which she had catered to. Since this was the first time I used professional help for makeup I didn't know what to expect but she did her job well. What I didn't like was her attitude. She hurried me so much into the process that I got ready too early for the wedding and couldn't even complete my Gaye holud. She was not even being polite. She entered the venue and started creating a ruckus. Although she had prior informed that she will not waste time but her behaviour on the day of event was unacceptable. She even created a ruckus in the bridal room as she had to attend another bride. I understand it's every bride's special day so I believe it's the responsibility of the artist to keep enough space gap in timings so as to manage traffic well and not panic.

Moitrei from KohlEyes to BerryLips did my sister's bridal makeover for her engagement, wedding and reception events. I, being the bride's sister, got my party look done as well. Moitrei is undoubtedly the best in the makeover industry ! Her blending is flawless. My sister's dark circles were taken care of, and the pimple marks vanished seamlessly ! In spite of all such face corrections that she did with her products, her makeup ended up with a very natural yet glowing finish, all 3 events. And yes, the makeup stayed intact and fresh all the while ! The hairstyles for all 3 events were great too, most importantly, versatile and apt as per the theme of the events. Coming to the draping, she gave us options to choose from. We loved the look she finally did for us. Not just this, Moitrei is superpunctual and superprofessional. She also helped my sister with the bridal poses for the solo photoshoot before she sat for the rituals. Hey Moitrei, we are so glad that we found you as our artist. Moitrei did my makeup for my wedding and reception, and I absolutely loved the two looks. What was best is the 2 looks were so different from each other and yet I looked my natural self. She is very polite, punctual and professional.

Worked with Moitrei for my engagement look in January. I had huge expectations after seeing her reviews here and other places. 1. I won't say that I looked bad on that day but the look was very underwhelming. It looked more like a daily office going makeover and not for a bridal function. The base was darker than my natural skintone (neck) which made the overall look dull and non-glamorous. 2. I wanted a low makeup look, but at the same time chose Bobby Brown products hoping for a natural yet full coverage base. But the coverage was so minimal that it didn't even cover my slightly darker chin area. And my skintone looked uneven and ashy in the photos with even the lightest pigmentations visible in all the photos. (I don't have any hyperpigmentation issues. Even a medium coverage concealer and foundation can cover them perfectly). Bobby Brown provides buildable coverage. So appropriate color correctors and little more product would have given a smoother, even-toned and polished finish without looking cakey. The unevenness make the final look shoddy. 3. As this was my first time experience with professional makeup artist, so I didn't know what to expect. In the confirmation email, it was declared that all premium products will be used ("The cosmetics to be used for the bride's makeup will consist of 98% - 99% of HD Mac & Bobbi Brown products. The remaining minor percentage may involve high-end cosmetics of other Global brands i.e., NARS, Anastasia Beverly Hills, Inglot, Tarte, Smashbox, KIKO Milano, Sephora, etc.") Yet for eye makeup Maybelline Colossal mascara was used which is a ₹350 product for amateurs/college-goers. The eye makeup turned out to be decent. But that's not the point. I thought this was a one time case that happened with me and wouldn't have mentioned it here. But I saw some other clients have also commented the same here. I think if someone is paying 14k or 18k for engagement or bridal makeover, it's only fair to use whole range of professional products even for the little details. Because we book professional artists for important events like wedding and engagement so we get access to premium products which we don't usually purchase for one or two time usage. So, if you're looking to book any MUA, please double check exactly what products they will be using for your makeover. And if possible, get a trial before you book someone. So, you are not surprised on your special day. Your makeup is the last thing you want to be worried about on your wedding. P.S. I have consciously stayed away from remarking the look I was given as good or bad, as everyone has different aesthetic sense and I am sure she tried her best. My review is mostly about some of the technical/professional aspects of the services rendered that can be improved in the future.

On the day of my wedding reception, Moitrei did my makeup. She is a true magician. Her behaviour must be appreciated. She understands your comfort zone. I told her not to use any kind of false eyelashes, still I loved the way she did my eye makeup. Everything was on point. It was as natural as possible ❤️ Loved her artistry 👍🏻

Moitrei did my makeup for my wedding and engagement. I wanted a sober look for both the occasions, didnt want a cakey makeup and Moitrei delivered beautifully! I felt gorgeous and yet not overdone at all. She also went the extra mile in draping my very beautiful yet extremely unmanageable organza saree.The quality of the makeup products and eyelashes was very good. I definitely recommend her. One small thing: I have short hair and felt like her hair stylist is not very used to styling short haired people. May be some improvement is required in that regard.
