Indian Wedding Saree

Due to covid-19, my engagement was a very intimate event with just family and I didn't want any high priced clothing to show off. I went on multiple e-com sites looking for budget-friendly yet beautiful lehenga, which I found at Indian Wedding Saree Store. The material and the color both are good. The set looks really pretty. If you want an elegant, beautiful dress, just go for it.

An absolute disaster. If I had a choice to leave zero stars! Order placed on 1st of March was supposed to be delivered by 21st of March just a week prior to that they say that the blouse you have selected cannot be stitched so decided to stitch accordingly. Just a week away from my wedding the dress was delivered and it came in a tiny cramped box and it was so smelly and damp had to get it dry cleaned and it costed me £150. They had offered me a partial refund only. Never order from them it will be a regret for life especially on special occasions.

Scammers don’t post and refuse to refund. Haven’t received the items ordered. Very poor communicator. All I want is a refund and they are refusing to refund. Don’t buy from these people

Fraudulent liars, don’t trust them. They advertise saree as silk but their saree have no natural fibres. Horrible plastic polyester, I know because I suspected by the feel of them so I did a burn test on a tiny bit of the end fabric. It turned to blobs of plastic, silk turn to black powder soot if burnt. But the worst thing is the treatment since contacting the company. They are refusing to refund even though they are organising a courier to take back the items and they are lying on other review sites saying they have already refunded. Incredibly disappointing company who can’t be trusted. They are false advertising and the opposite of reputable. I am writing this as I don’t want others to be upset the way I am. Readiprint fashions trading as Indian Wedding Saree are not a company you can trust. Tried to blame me because I thought I would get silk at $16 a metre even though I was very careful to only choose saree, I got fake silk. Bad seller not to be trusted, save yourself from being ripped off, buy elsewhere.

My recommendation: don't waste you money, time & nerves. My recommendation: Go to a local Indian shop, local tailor or buy something colourful/bright at Zara or wherever. Ordered a dress for an Indian wedding and found (I thought) the perfect dress. I took my measures 2x to be sure it will fit. Findings: 1) Waist measures: The example picture & supporting video showing different reference points as shown on the photo for the waist circumference. Consequently, the measures taken are way too wide (10cm) & thus to long (12cm!). The skirt simply hangs down the hip and not above the belly. 2) The blouse as shown on the reference photo isn't the same that I've received which has sleeves (drop box states: "no need for any measurement if you want a sleeveless outfit") 3) The blouse I've received is too long and too wide. I've stated in the free box, that I want my product the same as the displayed one (ie. 11cm too long) 4) Apex Point: 25cm indicated, 23cm received > consequently, it doesn't fit at all (the local tailor couldn't reverse this mistake) 5) material: reminds me of a curtain, not of a delicate dress. 6) The best is yet to come: I have told the customer service that the measures were off. I was glad to receive an offer that they will cover a local tailer: The tailor refused to alter the top ("too much effort") so I requested the skirt to be changed. The customer service told me afterwards, it was too expensive they could only refund 1/3. >> This leaves me with 1) an outfit for 650 HKD, 2/3 costs for alteration, 1 unwearable top & costs for another blouse to make the most of this order.
