Filmit Productions

I will be dividing this review in 2 parts. I have contemplated for almost 2 months whether it was necessary to post this. But after receiving our traditional video 2 days ago, i think it is necessary to post this for future clients who want to hire Filmit Productions. I had decided to hire Filmit productions based on their Instagram page and them being amongst the few wedding photographers in Aurangabad who matched my aesthetic. Part 1 of Review : Skills. Their team did a good job. The photos came out well. The editing came out well. They were polite to us and guests. Part 2 of Review : The Professionalism. After the event, we literally had to beg the photographer for the photos. We had paid his full fees well in advance. So there was no question of him withhelding photographs had payment not been made . He dodged phone calls. He would not even call back. He would not respond to text messages for days. We messaged him finally to be professional - to provide a time and date and adhere to it. He provided us with one. He Didn't make the deadline. Gave excuse. We kept calling/messaging. He never had the decency or courtesy to atleast reply to a client message if he was too occupied to receive calls. That is literally the bare minimum. He was extremely unprofessional and created a lot of distress. It was a hassle for us to just get hold of this guy. This is about the photographs. After a few days he reached out whether he can post them on his Instagram. My fiance and I had a bad experience with our makeup artist who posted our faces on her public page without consent. So we were already traumatized being the private people that we are. So we told our photographer as well not to post them as yet and that we'll let him know if our decision changes. I asked him during the same conversation when we would receive our traditional video. He didn't reply. I messaged again the next day. He didn't reply again. I called. He didn't answer. He didn't call back. I am a working doctor pursuing my final year of residency and this was what i was occupied with day in and day out. Chasing a photographer to obtain services that we already paid for in full. I finally had no option but to tell him in a stern fashion to be professional. So did my fiance. We told this guy to be professional. He had the audacity of asking me to be polite when he himself was giving us so much distress by not being professional in the slight. Finally the photographer had his win in the end - the Video arrived 2 months later. LoL. His traditional videography was for 30 minutes that we paid for, mentioned in the receipt he emailed us when we booked him. The video that was delivered was 14 mins. LOL again. With least amount of focus on bride and groom. Hope he enjoyed the last laugh. As for my fiance and I, we barely cared about it 2 months later because we already knew we were dealing with a highly unprofessional person and had lost major interest in it as it is. I would not have even posted this review but after laughing at the wedding video he provided us with, it just felt mandatory. Important to note here is that we had another function in Mumbai wherein we had hired a different photographer. Within 6 hours of the event - we received our photographs. We didn't have to run behind the photographer and his team. Infact we didn't even call them. They just sent everything on their own. No hassle. Professional team to it's core. I have written a glowing review about them on this very platform. Conclusion : We hire a team based on their professionalism and demeanor. We do not wish to hire people who cause stress in an already stressful situation of wedding planning etc. Filmit Productions, while they delivered good quality photographs, we will never hire them again for any other function nor recommend them to anyone.
