We chose Delhi Velvet as our wedding photographers because they're great at capturing candid moments. Their creative style really stood out to us. The team, led by Divishth Kakkar, did an amazing job at all our events. They didn't just take photos – they really caught the feel of each moment. I especially want to mention Nikhil, the lead photographer. He's incredibly knowledgeable and gave me fantastic advice on how to pose for pictures. His tips really helped me feel more confident in front of the camera. I loved how the whole team came up with fun ideas for our couple shots. They kept things interesting and made us feel comfortable throughout the process. The Delhi Velvet team was very professional. They knew what they were doing and worked hard to get great photos. Extremely dissatisfied with the delivery and quality of the photos. My wedding happened in Nov 2023 and agreement was to share edited photos within 45-60 days post wedding and after multiple followups I got the edited photos almost after 90 days. On top of that most of the photos shared are repetitive and of terrible quality. A local photographer would have delivered a better quality in cheaper price. Upon followup I am told i will get re edited photos but till date I am waiting for it. There is no responsibility and proactiveness from delhivelvet side. To get a response multiple followups are required. The videos are still due and have got no ETA on when I will get. On whatsapp I was told by the account manager Vidhi that I will get videos by Feb end and here we are in March and yet no update. I would like to put out the quality of photos.I can just add 5 but there are many such photos and many repetitive photos as part of edited 1200-1300 photos.

I had a plethora of phone calls and Zoom meetings with Divishth and every time, he was extremely patient and understanding about my vision for the Roka pictures. Milind and Nikhil from the team were running left and right to get the most dreamy pictures for Divij and me. My overall experience with DelhiVelvet was so good that they will also be shooting my wedding photos and videos.Source

Delhivelvet was the first vendor we booked for our wedding after lot of research and reviewing the works they have done in past. Needless to say they are ace in their game but we had what you can say the worst of experience. Weddings photographs are something which you will cherish for long. Our was a pandemic wedding, when hardly the weddings were happening we decided go with it. When we had booked Delhivelvet we agreed on a certain rate as per our contract however, the result which we got is really hard to take. If i get to compare those pictures and videos against the other works they have published on their page you will be shocked to see the quality of work delivered. This is mainly due to the fact that we freezed the deal at a pretty decent rate which as compared to today’s rate is on lower side as you can clearly see the quality of work has been compromised. You can check the photographs which were shared with us in first place. This is not the quality of work you would expect from someone who is in this industry for long. I don’t even have a single portrait of my father in my entire wedding. I dont have a single mehendi full length portrait. My wedding portraits are dark and highly contrasted - check the mehendi function pictures attached it was a bright sunny morning what looks in picture is a gloomy day. And there many such cases. Can it be any worse ? Despite calling out all these issues they were so unprofessional in dealing and were not ready to accept what they have done. We got our pictures delivered after nearly 8-9 months after getting rounds and rounds of changes in edits. This is highly unacceptable. I will not deny the fact that some of the pictures are good but the max is of such amateur quality that i cant ever share it anywhere. If you ask me you have ruined our life long memories from the most important day of our lives. You should call this out at the very beginning if you were to compromise on quality basis the package level. Since, ours was a pandemic wedding we initially thought that the rates have come down since there is no business in market. But if this is the quality you are delivering basis the package level than i am sorry to point this unprofessional behaviour of yours and your team in delivering the results. Not just us we have the guests and friends coming back to us commenting on poor quality of pictures. I have better pictures from the phones than your camera. I wonder why did we hire professional photographers then ? Highly disappointed!! Please be very cautious when you hire a professional and ensure they are not compromising on quality anytime.

I am obsessed with getting clicked and these guys made me get tired of getting clicked by the end. They gave it their best to capture every moment during the 2 days of my destination wedding. Got so many amazing photos that it’s difficult to choose from. Best team ever.

Swaroopa was a dream to work with. Elegance and quality is her thing so the whole planning phase went on like a breeze. She understood and implemented everything I wanted and I'm so glad I chose her. Couldn't have been happier with the end result. Everybody said the whole wedding looked like a fairytale.

I dont have words to describe this team and their work! I was looking for perfect photographers with whom I can connect! I literally wanted craftsmen who knew their work, could create magic with it, while understanding the client’s needs too! ♥️ I wanted the pictures to illustrate and effuse pure class! To capture the moments just how they were! And still be a work of uniqueness! I wanted someone who would be just as involved with us in our functions as if it were their own but still be professionals to execute the best! ♥️Apart from the jaw-dropping pictures that we have got from this par excellence team; our pre-wedding shoot, save the date clip, wedding teaser and wedding promo are class apart. They are unique and just not like every wedding clip that you come across. They were very patient with me as most of the times my pre-wedding & wedding functions were a run and mad chaos!🙈 They were humble, co-operating and loving with us! I did not feel at all that I had hired some unknown people! They felt my own! They made me THAT comfortable! Oh and about their work? They are wizards, creating awesomeness out of basic! 😍🤩 The most talented, humble, supportive and loving group of professionals- my wedding photography team- DelhiVelvet. I love you guys!
