I didn’t have to think hard at all before deciding on who to pick as my wedding choreographer. Deeksha seemed to be the talk of town at every wedding! When I saw some of her work, I could tell she’s an exceptionally talented choreographer who possesses the unique ability to work with individuals of all age groups. My aunts, uncles, toddler nieces and nephews and of course some of my cousins and friends who are challenged when it comes to hand eye coordination, ALL of them danced beautifully at my wedding thanks to Deeksha! Her ability to fit unique learning styles shines through as she effortlessly tailors her choreography to suit the needs and abilities of each dancer, ensuring that everyone feels included and valued. Deeksha stands out because of her knack for making dance accessible and enjoyable for all. Two weeks of dance practices went by and even after the wedding, those were the most missed moments by all! Everyone raved about the dances and the choreographies! The thing I loved about working with Deeksha, is that she seamlessly modified steps to accommodate the non dancers without compromising on the overall performance. Her demeanor through all the tantrums of people in our wedding party was so gentle and patient that I was in awe. This ensured that despite minimal practice in the run up to the event, it came together beautifully. Our nervous friends were reassured with having her dance along and had a great time on stage. Several of them were dancing to Indian songs for the first time but her patience and endless optimism made the process fun.
