Shahnawz was a dream to work with. For someone who had never worn foundation before in her life nor felt comfortable changing how she looked with a dramatic makeover, Shahnawz truly delivered a service beyond my expectations. He made me feel extremely comfortable throughout the getting ready process, was jovial and kind, and extremely professional. I was very nervous to let someone do my makeup as I wasn't sure if they would override my vision or use products that irritate my extremely sensitive skin, but Shahnawz worked with me in understanding my skin condition, was patient throughout, and showed no ego nor superiority in knowing what's best for me - he truly listened and didn't question my understanding of my skin even though he is the professional with training. His calm and kind personality made it fun to get ready instead of the tension I was expecting it to be, and after seeing his beautiful work come to life on my sangeet day, I was able to trust him to simple do as he sees fit on the next day - my very special wedding day! I actually only found out about him the week of my wedding and although it was a last minute vendor that I booked, I was able to have a wonderful experience with him - definitely book him for your special day as he makes getting ready feel like a chill hangout session with a new friend instead of a tiring process, and provides a beautiful service backed by years of passionate practice and ambitious training. For my wedding I felt like myself, and the most beautiful version :)
