Blend It Like Yamini by Yamini Kumar

So happy that my niece , sanjeet got yamini to do my make up. Not being a big make up person , I had some apprehensions … but with yamini I felt relaxed and sure that she knew what she was doing. She certainly made me look and feel great !!

Yamini did a fabulous job for my Maasi’s makeup during her reception. She understood her skin, particularly the texture that comes with mature skin and did the base accordingly. She did beautiful plum blend on the eyes, which looked stunning. She has a very calm demeanour and a very peaceful energy. I highly recommend her!

Despite being not such a makeup crazy girl, I had a somewhat magical experience with Yamini. My expectations were met in every sense. It was minimal, effortless and perfectly curated for my face, skin tone and the overall vibe I was looking for. She’s a natural talent, who works professionally with her “box of bliss.” The products were high quality and the style was classic yet chic. Will be coming back for more looks.

I had a great experience with Yamini doing my makeup for a small dinner at home. Firstly, she understood the distinction between the kind of makeup I was looking for vs a heavy party make up look and charged me accordingly which I thought was very sensible. Secondly, she took the trouble to find out what I was wearing and what kind of makeup she thought might work best for that evening. Thirdly, she started off with a minimal look and then added or modified wherever I asked her to and kept checking in with me throughout. Lastly, she had a great, calming energy and she did her work efficiently but with a lot of attention to detail. I thought she did my base in a way that looked great in all kinds of light- natural light, warm yellow light and even white light. She looks like she really enjoys her work and wanting to learn and experiment with different kinds of looks- I never once felt that she was forcing me to apply any products that I didn't want. Overall, I would highly recommend her and wish her all the best!
