It was an absolute delight working with Anupa! She is super talented, passionate and very professional. Anupa was my wedding photographer. She covered our pre-wedding photoshoot, wedding ceremony, and reception. Anupa was immensely personable and professional from the get-go. Her passion for photography and efforts to get to know my husband and me and connect with us at a personal level is what stood out to us. It’s not often that stealing someone’s hard earned weekend off, can turn into one of the best decisions you have ever made! Planning a wedding is a task and when you have to do it from miles away in a different country it’s even more challenging. With our initial photographer bailing out 72 hours before our peak season wedding, the hunt for a new one meant relying more on our gut as opposed to investing valuable time in the process of background checks. We met with Anupa just three days prior to our wedding. She was professional from the onset and clearly her personality has a big role to play in making you feel comfortable around her. Facing a lens with a stranger behind it can be really awkward and in one conversation Anupa programmed her wavelengths to match ours. She set expectations, was honest about her work, her workflow, and her abilities which spontaneously gave us a sense of her earnestness. The wedding spanned over three days and each day was so intricately planned with tight time frames, things weren’t guaranteed to run smoothly. Anupa and her team were respectful of this fact. What stood out were their artistic creativity, strong work ethic, and refreshing congeniality. They were a close-knit team of experienced professionals who just knew what to do in any given situation. I remember how patiently they waited to get the perfect amount of sunlight for one of our shots, and its moments like these that make you respect them for their knowledge as photographers more than their admirable cameras, lenses and equipment. I feel photography is the most undervalued part of a wedding whereas it should be the other way around. It takes a lot of effort to capture the right moments at the right timing. Even though her pictures look effortless it takes immense effort for each beautiful capture.
