I picked out the outfit I?m wearing from AZA, Altmount road, a multi-designer boutique in Mumbai, which was the perfect pit stop while I hampered last minute to find myself an ensemble fitting to my million requirements. The experience offered for a bride in AZA is super comforting to say the least. In probably the most stressful days of your life, you need a destination that will relieve you of your worries and just help you get your hands on an outfit while at the same time give you a good enough array to choose from. Walking in and having access to an endless number of designers from all over the country was a blessing. After loads of trials, I finally chose this blushing red Anamika Khanna draped saree. I?m a sucker for ?experimental? and while that?s something you must have noticed in all my wedding outfits, I have to admit, this was one of my favorites. Firstly, because my mum always wanted me to wear Red for my wedding day and I went against her wishes and instead wore her favorite color for my mehendi, and secondly, because this is the most durable/re-usable of all my function ensembles. I fell in love with the intricately embroidered flower-motifs on the red overflowing one-shoulder drape. The autumn hues on the stark yellow front-button blouse added an incredible finishing with a surprising color coalition too.
