FRAUD ALERT! Request to @wedmegood please introduce 0 star as well. Because he deserves that. I had booked Abhishek for my wedding day makeup nearly about 11 months in advance. Everything was discussed starting from the makeup I want, the package details, my ready time and also the travel expenses. I gave him 30% advance which was 9k and confirmed my booking. On the wedding day I called Abhishek around 10am in the morning and just reminded him to reach the venue on time so that I can be all decked up by 7:30pm(which was already conveyed to him while I did my booking). He said he will be there by 5:30pm. It was 4:30pm I called him to check upon him and I got to know he has a bride to makeover who is running late so he will be a bit late but still he will reach the venue by 6pm. Around 5:30pm I called him again to know the status and he said he is 1hour away from the venue and will reach by 6:30pm. At 6:30pm I called him again and he responded the same that he is 1hour away from the venue and reach by 7:30pm. I told him that I was supposed to be ready by 7:30pm and now you are telling me that you will reach the venue by 7:30pm. THIS WAS COMPLETELY NOT ACCEPTABLE. You can imagine how it feels for a bride who was supposed to be ready by 7:30pm is sitting on her makeup chair waiting for her makeup artist to show up and there is no sign of him. PEOPLE COMING UP TO HER ROOM ASKING WHAT HAPPENED. 7:30pm passed and then I kept calling him on every minute. Initially he did not pickup my call. Then he picked up and said that don't PANIC I will be there and I will take only 30 mins to do your whole bridal makeup. HOW ON EARTH IS THAT POSSIBLE? At 8:10pm, I called him again saying my guests have arrived please find some alternative at least so that I can be ready for my wedding. He said that he has asked his hair stylist to reach and start with my hair. She is near to the venue and reach in 5 mins. When I called her up, she said she is 1 HOUR away from the venue and will take time to reach. It was 8:30pm, my guests started arriving, MY BARAAT REACHED THE VENUE and I was sitting in my room crying thinking nothing can be fixed now. By GOD's grace and a lot of request, one makeup artist near my venue agreed to do my makeup and saved my day. I again called Abhishek to inform him about the alternative but he didn't even have that courtesy to pickup my call. At 9:30pm, got a call from Abhishek's hair stylist that she has reached the venue and she can start my hair. Till then I had already started with my makeup and asked her to leave as she was no longer required. After this Abhishek didn't even call me, didn't even think to apologize. After few days I called him asking for my advance money since he didn't even showed up. He started yelling at me saying it was my fault and I wasn't clear with the ready timing and so he is not going to pay back my advance. After a lot of discussion he agreed to refund. Since then it's been a month I haven't received the money, every alternative day when I call or text him, he keeps telling me that he is not well or even worse that his MOTHER is not well. GOSH! HOW CAN SOMEONE GO SO DOWN THE BELT AND SAY SHIT LIKE THIS? HE JUST RUINED MY DAY. He is the most unprofessional person I have come across. REQUESTING EVERYONE TO STAY AWAY FROM HIM. MONEY IS SECONDARY BUT GETTING EMBARASSED ON YOUR DDAY IS YOUR NIGHTMARE. I thought atleast he will have this much of decency in him and will refund my money but I was wrong. Because of few people like him believing on someone whom you just saw on your social media becomes tough. I hope my message will reach out to all the upcoming brides.

I had booked Abhishek for groom and guest make-up during my wedding. My overall experience was really sad due to the below reasons. but before that I will give a fair context to help anyone reading understand. we had booked him for two days for out guest make-up. things went ok on sangeet day but few guests didn't like his makeup as it was too cakey and guests denied to have a makeup next day from him. so I had to cut down on the no of makeups I had promised-that was only one party makeup. we communicated it to him clearly before he came to our venue. below was the major turn offs. 1. in order to compensate for this, what he did is, he hyped the prices and took overall 6K extra on the services. I have screenshot of conversation to prove this. 2. I had said that we will pay for ola uber cab fares, but he charged 1800 for commute and provided no bills. he hired some other cab but I had clearly told I will pay ola uber fare. no where in ranchi you will need 1800 for commute if you take ola uber. and he never told me before event that he will take some other cab. is this fair to say something else and do something else just to extort money? 2. for normal flower bun hairstyle, he took 1500 plus charged separately for flowers that mevr happens in ranchi and he had never told he will charge seperately for flower. 3. makeup quality was soo bad that all guests gave pathetic feedback and told not to call him next day. also they complained that he kept throwing attitude that he is from Delhi, this that and wasn't behaving nicely. 4. when I expressed dissatisfaction in modest way, he created a ruckus out of it and took benefit of wedding to charge super extra. because nobody would like nuisance on the wedding day. communication skill is really rude, unprofessional and I have spent more than 15 years here, so I discourage all my connection to hire him. I am a well educated person who respects artists and vendors. but by doing this, he has broken my faith in freelancers and doing this on someone's wedding is not just bad from behaviour pov, but also detrimental to his own business. all my guests, other vendors are a witness to this in case credibility of my review is concerned.
