WMG Red Carpet Bride at Aza: Pink Princess

It's red carpet bride day today woohoo! The day to lust over prettyness and drool worthy clothes all of which we experienced  the one day we all went to Aza and gave 2 brides to be and one sister of the bride a makeover !! Monica was our pretty sister of the bride who you may have first seen  in the beautiful Gaurav gupta champagne gown ! This stunning lehenga was our other choice for her- the bright pink top with the leheriya skirt being the perfect, younger sister outfit. Shot and styled by the incredible (and super fashionable herself) Morvi, and with makeup by the immensely talented Avantika kapoor, this is Red Carpet Bride at Aza Part 3 !

Meet Monica and her candy striped lehenga

While scouring the Aza store for an outfit appropriate for this gorgeous sister of the bride, we pondered between three options. An edgy dark green anarkali, a black Anamika Khanna pant-sari and this beautiful candy pink lehenga. While we loved all the options, the minute Monica entered the store we knew this was THE outfit for her to try. The bright pink jacket blouse that was cutaway at the tummy was the perfect color against her skintone and the fun, leheriya skirt with the peek of gota underneath gave the entire outfit a flouncy, princessy feel that complimented her personality beautifully. Avantika gave her a bright pink mouth, beautiful glowing skin and softly lined eyes to complete the fresh, girl next door vibe and Morvi helped us to pick out complementary jewellery pieces. A round turuoise ring and the prettiest enamelled earrings in lime and purple.

Once she was ready, we handed the shoot over to Morvi who helped her get the classic "twirl around" shot, and some beautiful candid moments as well as Monica took over the girl next door avatar. That girl is made for camera we say!

From the bride: 

As soon as I entered the Aza store, I was taken in by all the beautiful colors all around. Since I am fond of dressing up, it seemed like I had entered my wonderland- can you imagine racks and racks of clothes and jewellery all for yours to try??? Anyway, I met the WMG team who were all so friendly and courteous  and it didn’t feel like Im meeting them for the first time ! The first outfit the WMG team brought out was a candy pink lehenga which I immediately loved because pink is MY color. I love everything pink ! After that, I sat for hair and makeup with Avantika (who by the way has flawless skin) and she  made me feel super comfortable and kept asking me my about my preferences, my skin type etc. All in all, she was very great and accommodating to work with.  Our photographer Morvi is not only talented but she is such a fun loving person too, and she helped me accessorise my look with a clutch and a cuff. The way she conceptualised the shoot and also suggested different ways of  facing the camera- was just brilliant . I loved how she taught me how to get the perfect twirling shot and she was super approachable and helpful not only like a photographer but as a friend. I was a bit conscious with the lehenga, as the top was a bit loose for me , and well I didn't want some wardrobe malfunction happening but the entire team and Morvi put me at ease and the entire day was such a fun day of pretty clothes, girly gossip and fun!
