WMG Red Carpet bride at Aza: A black mystery !

Our favourite work days are undoubtedly the 'Red Carpet bride makeover' days where we give some brides to be a chance to be decked up in designer outfits, get a bridal makeover and get shot by a pro candid photographer - in this case the insanely talented Morvi Images :) . Maybe it was the all girl squad of Avantika kapoor, Morvi, and the WMG team, maybe it was the super welcoming team at Aza, maybe it was the girls who posed their life out but this  feature has been one of our favourite ones so far!

Meet Sahiba & her all black lehenga 

From the minute we walked into Aza, there was one outfit we immediately KNEW we had to see on a bride to be.  Amidst all the gorgeous sorbet colors and drool worthy outfits at Aza,  was an all black, super chic lehenga with a crop top blouse and intricate floral gold detailing along the skirt. It was the perfect canvas to accessorize against and would make a super fashion forward choice for any bride to be, or sister of the bride on their cocktail, welcome night or reception. Yeah yeah I know- black? Not a bridal color at all and will have your mom gasping - well take it in an emerald green or navy blue or deep wine. But TAKE it because its freaking gorgeous and honestly we have to say its a bit of a steal  as well. Anyway, once the black lehenga was finalised, Sahiba who is our super petite bride to be was fitted into it and our makeup artist Avantika (who is a total sweetheart!!!) created some soft curls for her which were loosely pinned back so that the neckline of her blouse was visible. She also gave her a very edgy look with deeply lined dark eyes and red lips which were a perfect contrast to the lehenga. We knew we would have a field day accessorizing this beauty and we left it all upto Morvi- who was not just our photographer of the day but also our stylist (she has had previous experience in that field by the way) ! We agreed on giving an over the top, chunky jewelled look to the plain neckline and she picked up 3 necklaces to layer one atop the other, she chose a red cocktail ring from Aza and we were all set!  After some direction from Morvi who is quite the perfectionist,  Sahiba took to it completely. Who knew this sweet , softspoken girl could have such fierce pictures?? We can almost hear Tyra banks saying 'Fierce' in the background !

From the bride: When I entered the Aza showroom, I was warmly welcomed by the Wed me good team. Soon after I was shown this gorgeous and oh so pretty black (not the "bridal" color! ) lehenga. It had intricate golden work on the skirt and the white dupatta with detailing was just right to break the monotony. But the best part of it was the beautiful layered jewellery that went so well with the plain black crop top choli. As for the make up, Avantika was amazing at her work. She put me at such ease and kept asking me my preferences. The eyes, the base and the hair, everything was just to my liking! Getting photographed by the super talented Morvi was an experience in itself, she was so involved in getting everything to perfection and gave me a vogue model like experience.
