Day 2 of Wills Lifestyle India Fashion week saw the likes of Nikasha, Malani Ramani & Ashima & Leena showcase their wares. While most of the shows were focused on pret wear, we did manage to get a little bit of our Indian wear trousseau fix with these top picks of today.
Nikasha seems to have dipped her pencil into all the colors we love. Pastel pinks, soft nudes, and ombres in fabrics like chiffon, silk and georgette. Also love that floral pattern that almost resembles japanese cherry blossoms.
Left: Every girl needs a straight kurta with pallazo in her trousseau and this one by Nikasha is gorgeous. Right: Huge Sharara fans we are at WMG and when it comes in Ombre tones, our hearts melt.
Left: Soft Pink Saree would be great for your best friends wedding! Right: That fabric is so gorgeous, it is literally glowing ! Wear it to a friends or your own mehendi?
Some more Nikasha- easy, breasy chic !
Left: Malini Ramani surprised us with a departure from her usual pops of color to this almost all black collection. That saree on the left- super hot for a cocktail. Sari on right- very edgy and fashion forward for the sister of the bride. We have to say the rest of the collection was a slight let down .
Ashima & Leena's garments always exude a sense of this classic, never go out of style kind of vibe . That anarkali on the left has some of the most traditional weaves used but in a modern silhouette and the jacket on the right- uber classy!
Thats a picture from Day 1, but we are FLOORED at this Tarun Tahiliani lehenga on Shilpa. The off shoulder top, to the bohemian vibe of the lehenga in the rich raw silk- this is absolutely gorgeous. Having a fun mehendi ?? Wear this and dance away to glory!
