If you stalk us on Instagram then you may have noticed that a couple of weeks back, we asked you guys to nominate your parents or grandparents with inspiring or adorable love stories. And you guys, didn't hold back !!! From some amazing stories of love and commitment, we found 4 adorable couples and got them to take a day off at Four Points By Sheraton New Delhi to inspire us with their unique love stories and undying chemistry.
Then the amazingly talented folks over at Amour Wedding Films helped us capture their chemistry on film and here it is for all of you to see.
Meet the couples
Mr & Mrs Taneja : Nominated by their daughter Ria who also translated for them in this video, they are a deaf and mute couple whose chemistry doesn't need any words anyway. Their love story touched all our hearts and their journey from woo-ing each other to getting married and then raising a family is beautiful. Our favourite moment for them occurred when we asked Mr.Taneja what was the most romantic thing his wife had done for him and he replied that his wife had taught his family to sign, and he could now speak to his family and parents via signing - something he couldn't do all the years before he was married. They warmed our hearts with their energy, spirit and charm and were perhaps the most talkative couple on set.
Mr.Lachaman Singh & His Wife: Nearing 80, this adorable couple was nominated by their grand daughter. She said in her entry script that they still were like teenagers and when they fought, they would do silly things like kill a mosquito and secretly plant it in the other persons hair. Young at heart, uncle still manages to surprise his wife with surprise vacations and they spent last year travelling different countries "I like showing my wife new places and exploring things together"- he had mentioned to us . The moment when they say 'I love you' in the video had major awws all around when we were filming!!!
Manjula & Vitual Aheja: College sweethearts, these guys could pass off as a fresh, young love. Nominated by their daughter-in-law who said that they set relationship goals for her, this dapper looking couple is a good lesson in keeping the spark alive. Their match was initially met with resistance and while they persisted, the families refused to budge. They didn't give up until one day their wishes come true. "Everyday is better than the previous one " says Mrs. Ahuja about her marriage to her husband.
Rajshree & Tarun Seem: Another pair of College sweethearts, we were just amazed by how much they had to say to each other even after 25 years of marriage. Even if we took a 2-minute break during filming, we would spot them deep in conversation with each other- something they themselves admitted they were notorious for. Our favourite story came from them, when they told us how when Mrs. Seem was an RJ she would play a song specially for him. Mrs. Seem also had some hilarious incidents of what annoys her the most about Uncle, but we aren't going to share that for now :p
