A wedding extravaganza in Atlantis, Dubai

It's pretty easy to get lost in these photos by Varun Suresh- each of them is packed with more color and action than the next. Against the backdrop of the Atlantis Dubai, with decor that is picture perfect, and a mehendi outfit on the bride which we absolutely adore -shortlisting which photos to keep here was probably the hardest part of our day. Rhea and Prateek chose the UAE for their  destination wedding because that is where they met, and they tied the knot in typical UAE style- glamorous, extravagant but most of all full of color and fun.

They met at the Yas Marina Track in Abu Dhabi in 2010. Rhea recounts" We just got talking and immediately clicked. Dated for nearly 4 years and then tied the knot"

From the bride:  We wanted a fun wedding where our guests can be transported to the same place were we fell in love. We had some pre parties in Delhi and then went to Dubai for the celebrations. Special mention to Saida Massmoisu - the head of weddings at Atlantis who was the one who got EVERYTHING sorted for us from the first meeting till the end. It wouldn't have been possible without her.

The wedding kicked off with a  youngsters party which was scheduled by the groom's younger brother, Ankish Madaan. It was hosted on a private yacht in the Dubai marina and sailed in between the high rises. The weather and views were incredible set against the theme which was  " White" .The  invites for this party were designed by Neha Singh Bhatia. Suneet  Varma is a dear friend of the family. He helped curate looks for all functions and help style them even if they weren't his designs. He created a dream red and gold bespoke creation for my bridal.

Overall our wedding was a celebration of our love and one year later on our anniversary we went to the Atlantis in Bahamas to celebrate. Dubai and Atlantis will always be special.
